 I think you're going to pay a lot more for those brands than you would for the stanley, but the stanley. You know it's a bit cheaper, but you still get a high level of performance because it's very solid and it has the gasket you'll - also notice. The bungee cords on the top here. Both the seven cord and the 16 quart have that on them, and I found that handy as far as maybe strapping on a an umbrella or raincoat or your suntan lotion, any kind of small items that you want to bring with you that you don't necessarily need To have in the cooler, since I have all three sizes of the cooler I found that they all serve a different purpose

 It just has this kind of flat recessed area with some drainage ports on it, and you know you can just kind of lay stuff on top of it, and I've actually used it as a stool to sit on it has kind of a taller design to it. So it's kind of perfect for that, and it's just so solid that you know you don't have to worry you can you can sit on top of it. One of the other things that I like about the 30 quart is that it has a taller design to it, so you can fit your two-liter bottles and beverage bottles upright. You don't have to lay them on the side, like you do with some of the wider design coolers

 So for me you know I that to be an advantage. All three of my coolers are in the dark green color, but it's my understanding that Stanley now has particularly the 7 chord at 16 that I've seen in white and also in red. So you have a couple of color options there. So but I happen to like the green because I'm I do a lot of camping and an outdoors kind of stuff, so I don't know I kind of like the green, it's kind of like a camouflage type of thing

 If trying to bungee a thermos to the lid it's cumbersome. Using the lid for drink storage will make the cooler top heavy. I would've gave this product 4 stars, but there's something Stanley didn't anticipate in design. The cooler is not long enough to carry the one quart thermos on its lid

Warranty replacement for heritage cooler.

 If you want somebody to get smart. Yank here, ram mounts. Scotty even has these rails. If you all could just go ahead and put a slot on these coolers with those rails, put the rail on the cooler

 I think it's worth it. For a personal cooler, the foam is actually really good, foam, lid, and body. Not only that, it has a sealed gasket to not let air get out. So, it will keep the ice for over a day and it will keep cool for even longer

 So I really needed a smaller cooler. What prompted me to get this size cooler and ultimately to even consider the 20-quart Pelican or Yeti coolers or even Grizzly. I looked at all the manufacturers actually and a lot of times I go fishing and use a cooler bag. Well, one of the last videos you all saw the catfish

 The thing is, it is a little bigger and things like that. So let's talk about this cooler. It's $24.70

I purchased a new cooler... I still have the pelican 35QT, but I wanted a smaller cooler for kayak or day trips.  This cooler is pretty nice and has life time warranty.  Time will tell if need to use the warranty, but so far the cooler has stayed true!

 I have tried using a screwdriver and running it under hot water (Stanley Customer Service solution). It did ride on an airplane, which means that could be an issue with it. I purchased it to keep my food cold when I am flying. Whatever the case, I cannot get it open

Lid will not open...

 So that's my issue with it: okay, good it might be fine for carrying a six class or something like that. But a normal lunch yeah, you know that's a can of chicken in the bottom, a big beverage in the bottom I'll, wait these near the bottom. The banana and Apple are the only things that are up high. Besides that thermos, I have never been able to walk into work with a straight cooler that just that, just like this with this setup, because it's too top-heavy

 You can actually sit on the top of this and then you start a bottle sits right up here these Bungie. So overall, it's a pretty well built little cooler pack, your lunch up. Mommy I'll take a can of chicken makes it rich some mayonnaise stuff like that, make a chicken salad I fill it in here for purposes of demonstration. Put the whole can in there lays a little bit more so I'll drop that in there like, I always do

 Now, I'm working very well, as you can tell, by the sound of my voice, so it's all packed in there. Real nice close yourself got a 25-mile thermos that came with it. My thermos dimly quality is that throw it on the top all right, we're all set for work? Let'S take off, we get to work getting out of the truck and into the shop got my got. My thermos cooler lid, I'm walking my arms moving a little bit

Great after a simple modification

really loved until the handle broke

 You would need to close the ice chest and sometimes push down hard at the center to get both locks to click close and opening it has alittle bit if effort too. I wished stanley would have fixed this issue or redesiged it as i would give it a 4 1/2 star rating. Overall the ice chest is nice and has lots of room and i use it as a chair during lunch hours or fishing!

Nicely designed ice chest but 1 fatal flaw

The bungee cord is a nice feature but it's a bit flimsy and I worry ...

Bought this b/c tired of flimsy coolers with lids falling off. I like that it's very sturdy but the dimensions not very well thought out. Standard 8" water bottles can't be stood straight up so very inefficient use of interior space. I'd much prefer same 7 qt cooler except taller so it would hold water bottles better
