 First up, Wizard. Uh yeah with the miniatures. I've tried to paint them to match their artwork and he's a little. I'd say these are true 25 millimeter scale model

 First released back in 1983 as Talisman, the game started out something totally different to what it became. It was created by Robert Harris as a game for him and his friends to play, and originally the objective of the game was to become a prefect at a boys school. It was only when the setting was changed to one, a fantasy and a name to Talisman that Robert was able to sign a publishing contract with Games Workshop and the game was revealed at the 1983 Games Day. So what's in the box for this? There's many additions to Talisman, so I thought we'd have a quick look through the second because the first is and the second much the same

 The City, which was based on the second Addiction Edition expansion and the Forest Realm. Dungeon of Doom was released next also in 1994 and added another two board sections: the dungeon itself and a mounting realm. These board sections fitted around the corners of the main board. The final expansion for this version, the Dragon's Tower, was released in 1995, and this featured a card tower which a dragon sat on top

 Are you upside down? Okay, you uh with no name. let's move on to the third edition. The third edition a game Came in for the time. Uh, very similar

I've owned modern hobby boardgames (whatever you want to call them) since 2008 (about the time Agricola was first printed). My collection has grown to a little over 100 games and stays right about number. However, I rotate through games a lot, buying and trading quite frequently. I think of the expense of shipping as "renting" games. I don't like keeping games that I don't desire to play. Even some games I like a lot, I might sell if they're valuable (i.e. **Container** about 6 years ago). 

That said, these are the games I've owned since purchasing them and the year I acquired them:

El Grande (Decennial ed.) 2008

Agricola 2008

Caylus 2008 (I actually sold my copy recently and bought the Premium edition)

War of the Ring (1st ed) 2008

Ingenious 2008?

Hannibal: Rome vs Carthage 2009

Brass 2009

Successors: 3rd edition 2010

Earth Reborn 2010

Battlestar Galactica 2010

With the exception of maybe Ingenious, I would rate these all an 8 or higher and I enjoy playing them still. Ingenious is a fun family game though, so I keep it around.

What boardgames have been in your collection the longest (that you still enjoy)?

Mesh Too Small for Colloidal Oats

 All you're doing is just an audible no yeah kind of thing, which yeah, whatever. Um, and you know this, this clearly hit a certain need or desire in these players. uh, for something that didn't require the same cost that say the uh, a straight role-playing game would and you didn't have um, a rich level of kind of moderate games that were available to convince people. People looked at the Avalon Hill stuff, even the fantasy based stuff and their immediate thought was oh yeah, I've seen them in with the D D stuff

 So these first two and then dragons, uh, was the he throwing more and more stuff in. They also diluted the amount of stuff that you could deal with early on by making more powerful things. and they kind of, I think diluted the amount of monsters to to useful stuff ratio. Um, [Music] I'm not positive about that, but I get that feeling that more and more stuff you could carry around that may or may not even be useful

 he makes you the King's champion and the the final one. The Master Thief is kind of an iffy one to be like all kind of random happens to you in terms of money. like you gain and lose money and maybe gain and lose warrants and like that all game long and it doesn't really do much for you although it comes with a stat bonus again uh that one also is hard. There's one card in the deck

I've been debating purchasing these games for quite some time now while reading so many mixed reviews, yet enjoying video play-throughs of both.

I genuinely want to know the Pros and Cons of each game, or better yet, games you enjoy more than these two.

Adding an aside here - I'm relatively new to board games, my favorites being Catan (I know, you probably hate that one also), Dominion, Splendor, Talisman (another largely and openly hated one), and recently, Aeon's End. It's really hard to gauge what board games I'll actually end up enjoying until I play them, which may very well just be my answer in this situation.
