- Great for people who like games with random chance
- High quality
- Hard to choose size
- Game is not for people who get mad easily
\- Talisman is ok but very long and random which is why it gets a bit trashed. (Especially with its roll-and-move mechanic that can see you getting stuck with little choice of what to do.)
I love Talisman. If you're okay with random chance dictating a good chunk of what can happen, it can be a blast. Wacky crap can happen and every game can play out considerably different, especially if you're playing with the expansions. It is an old game, though, and many of your turns (particularly...

Talisman Board Game Retrospective
The Heartbringer was released in June 2015 and signaled the beginning of the end and the Cataclysm came in 2016 which replaced the entire board with a new one. At this time, Fantasy Flight Games and Games Workshop had a bit of a falling out and Games Workshop licenses were taken away from Fantasy Flight Games, including that of Talisman for a short while. In terms of "underrated", I really enjoy adventure style games such as **Talisman** and **Runebound**. The **World of Warcraft Adventure game** I feel is one of the best while not very well regarded. Some of my own highlights:. * enemies are separated into difficulty marking clear progression.
If you're the type of person who easily gets mad when things don't go your way, avoid this game at all costs.
If you're the type of person who loves when the outcome of a game is unpredictable all the way to the end and you've got some friends to play with, buy this game at any cost.

What I can say about Talisman is, you know, across the board, I think it's a really lousy game, poorly developed, uh, lots of crap in it that just doesn't quite work the actual mechanism and the style of play. It neither tells me a good story, nor is it really that exciting to play. There's a lot of tedium in it

Carcassonne, Splendor and Talisman. Carcassonne is very simple and straightforward, Splendor is a card game with lovely chips, and Talisman is for the fantasy and/or RPG oriented people with lots of dice action
The AI cheats.
They say it doesn't. It does.
The computer has 100% knowledge of all die rolls before hand, and as such, makes decisions based off information it can't possibly know.
It's like playing with a Fatbeard who wants you to lose, and hates you, and who cheats just to prove he's smarter th...
