 As you can see the Teac TN300 is a very nice product because the structure is in high density MDF and the finisher is red, but you can choose also cherry, black, white and wood. All in this turntable is made with good materials. Plastic is not much. The only piece in plastic is the bottom that contain also the electronics

 At first you have inside this very simple RCA cable, the power adapter and a good USB cable. Ok, this is the bundle. As you can see the Teac TN300 is a very nice product because the structure is in high density MDF and the finisher is red, but you can choose also cherry, black, white and wood.  There is also the anti-skating and the photographic cartridge is as you can see and how the technical. The sound of this turntable is very good and I want to say to you also an important thing that you have in this turntable. The phono output is a double phase output because you can select true phono output. In this way you need a phono preamplifier but if you want you can select a phone equalizer that is inside the TN300

 Now I want to speak to you about the brace and the cartridge. Aluminum is the most important material and the brace is nine inch long. There is also the anti-skating and the photographic cartridge is as you can see and how the technical. The sound of this turntable is very good and I want to say to you also an important thing that you have in this turntable

 And the sound of the turntable is very good is a rich sound but if you use the USB output you can reach an higher level not only for this product that is the TN300 but a better sound above all turntable. I think that with this word I had to say all about this Tayac TN300 and I see you goodbye, bye bye.

Update. Quite interesting story in comment.

 My Denon amp has phono preamp, but I think the TN-300 preamp is fine and should be matched to the included cartridge. Fortunately I have a good quality Firewire A/D converter, and the audio quality from the TN-300 seems completely satisfactory to me.

Forget the USB output

New landlord gifted me this turntable when I was moving in my collection. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

 I thought about making my own but I had just built a custom suspension shelf for my TN-300 and just didn’t have the motivation to follow through.  I really wanted the Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge. However, cartridges are one of the few pieces of turntable equipment that sellers do not accept returns on and it was still unclear whether it would work properly on the TN-300. If it didn’t, then I would be stuck with a $250 cartridge I couldn’t even use

Briefly, this table is what it is: a budget turntable for people trying to get into vinyl LPs like me. The first TN-300 I ordered had a slightly warped platter so I contacted Amazon for a replacement turntable which I received very fast. Second turntable did not have any issues. Therefore, I give this turntable a 4 star rating; I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the first mishap, because for the sale price I bought it at, it is a very decent budget turntable

I used it once and went back to the Teac, because the AT had too many quality issues (bad anti-skate, platter wobble, motor noise, crunchy-feel to cue lever, poor build-in pre-amp cannot be fully disabled without modification) that made it a downgrade. Yes, AT has addressed a few of those in the newer X-revision, but the quality still varies

 I used it once and went back to the Teac, because the AT had too many quality issues (bad anti-skate, platter wobble, motor noise, crunchy-feel to cue lever, poor build-in pre-amp cannot be fully disabled without modification) that made it a downgrade. Yes, AT has addressed a few of those in the newer X-revision, but the quality still varies.

I'm looking to buy my first turntable and have narrowed it down to these two:

Fluance RT82 ($299)
AT-LP120XBT-USB ($295.99)

For speakers I’m thinking Edifier R1280DBs ($149.99)

 When he adjusted this, the sound came back in both speakers, no more looping and it sounded absolutely fantastic! Now, there are users out there who would not have taken as much time to look into this and may have possibly sent the player back. If you are someone out there and you read this review, just understand that if you have the same problem, its a simple matter of adjusting that little screw. If not for this issue, I would have given 5 Star. Beautiful record player, fantastic sound!

 That bar (when allowing the tone arm to drop down), would go down only so far, but not down far enough. As a result, you would only hear out of one side of your speakers (left in my case) and the record would loop AND it would only play better when you set the tone arm in the MIDDLE of the record. This showed me that the tone arm was not able to go down as far as it should to play the beginning of the record (reason it would loop constantly), but since it doesn't have to drop as far to play the middle to end of the record, it would play fine. What my brother did (he figured it out) was to adjust the little silver Phillips screw (look in the picture) and allow that bar that drops, to just drop a tad bit more

I was able to get this record player while it was on sale for $228 rather than the $400 that was normally being asked. I bought this because of the great reviews it has received from many websites as a very great record player and actually is considered to be better than the Audio Technica LP120 by many. Anyway, I got the red color because it was the cheapest that was on sale and it looks fantastic!. Now, I opened up the record player and set it up EXACTLY per the instructions

The platter also suddenly speeds up then slows down continuously. I have tried re-seating the belt but that did not help

 I have now decided to revert to my old 80s workhorse and re-purchase a used Technics SL1200 MK2. I know audiophiles will cringe at the thought of direct drive, but I will sacrifice a bit on sound quality to have a turntable that I can throw out of a window and it will still work. As the old adage says, they don't make 'em like that anymore.

Poor Qualiity Control

To start I've got a Teac TN 300 turntable connected to a Blutube by Rockville tube amp. The speakers were a gift from my dad who bought them over 25 years ago, and handed them down to me when I moved out. Old, but very loud and high quality.
