 now again, it does have that aluminum base right there and it's not horrible. We've tested some other keyboards that have been extremely loud where I just I couldn't stand it right? Honestly, when I was playing or even typing with this a keyboard here, it was so faint in the background that it really didn't bother me at all. And honestly I have tested some keywords before where BOTS for me so bad I just couldn't use it. You know to mean but I wanted to bring that to your attention that you do have that slight ting there

 Again, it feels incredibly solid. Now let's talk about underneath the board. The base down here is all plastic, but it's a very thick plastic. you don't have to cycle through every different color, you just hit that function

 You can see that fairly well. So they're not just that basic sprayed on. I have 150 dollar keyboards that just have sprayed on key caps. They don't have double shot

My previous board was a Tecware Phantom 87 with red switches, but my goodness the build quality on this Ducky is far superior. Typing with tactile brown switches for school is so much more satisfying than with reds.

Faulty product and awful customer service

 there, you put the white little skirt and then you change the keycaps to white and you've completely transformed your whole entire setup into no longer a black keyboard with a white one and you want to take that off, You just pull it off there. It's all magnetic. It's very high quality. That is so cool because you have so much customizability with that where a lot of keyboards don't have that, it's not like you can just get a case for them so it's great

 Unboxing the Techwear Phantom 87 This has been a highly anticipated video for me to do. Really cool packaging. This one has the autenmu browns on it. Let's get this thing unboxed

 It's not just like a metal metal, it's like kind of has a texture to it's pretty nice. On the side here, we got Phantom printed right there, which looks very, very high quality and very nice. Now I noticed that they didn't have a sw uh or they had a switch puller, but they didn't have a keycap remover, but it's actually built in to the back there. How cool is that that? They literally give you a switch puller if I can figure out how to take it out

 I'm not really big in that on my keyboards, I am more on my mice. but um if you do want to do macros you would have to download the software but not a big deal. It's very cool that it still has especially this price point. But the last pro is Techware actually makes little covers for these little skirts for them

However, these are all too pricey for my father and he is NOT a gamer. He wants to buy some mechanical keyboard that is quiet and has RGB lighting (or some sort of lighting) for 70€ maximum but better would be for 50€. What do you suggest? We live in Germany.

A great cheap 50€-70€ keyboard with RGB lighting for my father?

 If you compare the pricing, a GMMK1 barebones is about $55 ($100? when not on sale). About $72 with keys. (Both brands with cheap font designs that look oddly ugly). Vs the techware for $45

  Oddly, the GMMK1 doesn't have padding between the plate and the PCB while the Tecware Phantom does. These effects sound a bit, better for the Tecware Phantom. GMMK software will get fewer complaints from Windows about the software certification.  The software (Glorious or Techware) is worse to use than RK's

 FIX THIS.  The keycaps are easy to replace with PBT versions. If you compare the pricing, a GMMK1 barebones is about $55 ($100? when not on sale). About $72 with keys

 The angle of this keyboard is perfect and common for keyboards, it's where it needs to be without popping out the feet. (Exact same feet on the GMMK1) The angle of the keyboard is exactly why I choose the Techware Phantom over the GMMK1, even thou the GMMK1 doesn't have the pinging issue.  Oddly, the GMMK1 doesn't have padding between the plate and the PCB while the Tecware Phantom does. These effects sound a bit, better for the Tecware Phantom

A very good $45 keyboard, good features for the money.  Better value than some major brands.

 Said Plate is made from 1.5mm steel. This is what gives the keyboard. It’s solid weight and rigidity

 And then the keyboard itself. And First impressions in the hands is great. It’s packing some solid weight, coming in at about 950g, so just under a kilo.

 And They have a nice matte look to them as well,, being slightly textured.. They’re made from pretty thin 1mm ABS plastic, but they are doubleshot, so the legends are another piece of plastic and will never fade away. The Phantom does have a completely standard ANSI layout though,, so replacing the keycaps is super easy

 The Font or typeface itself is quite clean, but they are thickish and have some gaps and whatnot,. but they’re not the worst. And They have a nice matte look to them as well,, being slightly textured.

I personally use the Tecware phantom 87, it’s a tkl board with outemu switches, I’ve used it for a few months and it has been great so far

So most the keyboards I’ve had are just £20 ones that aren’t very good, and I was looking for some recommendations for a better keyboard (preferably under £200)

I don’t mind the colour of the keys but it would be cool if it has a changeable RGB backlight (the one I have atm has it but you can’t change it so it’s just permanently rainbow) and I’d like one that is easy to take apart to clean or change the keys

Looking for a quality keyboard

  Cable, though thick and braided, is not removable.  Note: some others have commented on significant input lag from this keyboard. I have not experienced this personally, but also have no way of measuring input lag on my end, so who knows.  RECOMMENDATIONS: Add o-rings immediately to all the keycaps to soften the bottoming-out of the keys (much nicer feel this way) and the *ping* sound, and make sure the o-rings you get are transparent so they don't block out the LEDs (given, even transparent o-rings will be a bit visible through the keycaps when installed - but it's still worth doing for the upgraded feel and toned down sound)

 I do not believe per-key programming is possible. I have not tried any software for the keyboard - have always just adjusted the lighting via the hardware.  NEUTRAL: The keycap font is OK, but not super classy / stylish. Some letters on keycaps are imperfect

 The keyboard is fairly substantial in feel and weight.  The look of the keyboard isn't super "gamer" style, which I prefer. As long as you're not on one of the crazier lighting settings, the keyboard looks pretty low-key in my opinion.  The Outemu brown switches are pretty darn good

 I've used it for gaming as well as typing and am pretty happy overall. Are there better boards out there? Sure, but if you're looking to pick up a reasonably priced mechanical keyboard, this one is worth your consideration for sure.  POSITIVES: The keyboard feels very solidly built. The top plate is steel (though the bottom is plastic)

nice all around specs and he decided to get a k552, if you want a tkl keyboard the tecware phantom 87 is a really nice tkl for under $50, comes with outemu blue, reds or browns with good rgb and software

After my 16th birthday it took 3 months and a McDonalds Job for me to buy everything myself!!!!
