Ok so firstly I am a big fan of kasa cameras I have loads of them around my property and I did hold out for the doorbell it was very close buying a different doorbell and I really wanted a ring doorbell however I wanted it to work on the same system and being in the United Kingdom the kasa doorbell is not available so I went on to Amazon America and there it was and it came really quick and I accepted the fact that it was wired and I like the fact you could put a SIM card in it and also accepted that I had to get a converter for my chime which stick out of the plug socket a little bit more than usual and if I wait for this product to be launched in the UK probably many years will pass and I also got this for a really good price because in the United Kingdom they will probably double the cost of this. I do like the look of it I do like the fact that you can put your own sim card in it however I do feel that a child could pull this off the wall as it does feel a bit flimsy and unsecure even though I have used all the correct screws and I have done it in a good way that's my opinion and I also would like a better notification to my phone maybe because I'm on Android but in the kasa apa you should be able to change the ringtone notification as I get many notifications and they are all the same or what would be even better is that it just goes straight onto the camera because by the time you have a lot your phone you have pressed on it it and it's searching for internet the person has gone but not all the time I'm booked on other doorbells it's like an instant activation and you can also leave messages but you should be able to change those messages for what text you would like I would finally like to say that I just feel that this device needs a little bit of tender loving care it's like it has been rushed in order to compete with all the other doorbells so I would say that I am reasonably happy but a lot of work needs to go into this and a little bit of tweaking which I'm sure the product designers understand and know about

 We've got some more hardware here, some screws, just some stuff to install this into the wall if we need that, as well as a reset. All right. Still getting used to this camera, but it's also got the reset pen push in there. It's got all that

 Just to cut to the chase, I've already installed it. I've already set it up. It's working. It's operational in my house

 So we've got a speaker and microphone over here. And then, of course, our camera, all of our mounting stuff, our wires will go into the back of this micro SD card will go in here as well. And then we go to reset down here. Pretty straightforward

 I'm just going to check that it's fine. There we go. Video quality. You've got a couple of different options as far as how you'd like to have that set up

Other than the cons, I would have given this 4 to 5 stars based on price, quality, and usage of local memory card as an alternative vs. cloud service. If Kasa reads this, please also inform of any known issues of frying memory cards or did I get 2 lemon cards?

 I have not yet power cycled the Doorbell yet.  If anyone reading this and experience similar or same issue, please update your reviews. I will update mine as well if I find anything else out.  One last thing before we get started here is that it does use a micro SD card to store video footage locally, and that means that you don't need to pay for a subscription if you want to store that video footage locally, which will also allow you to view it on your phone, whether you're in your home or you're outside of your home. So you want to install that micro SD card. The first thing we're going to do for this before we turn the power off is we're going to install that micro SD card so we don't forget about it. To install the micro SD card, you're going to just remove these two screws and it does take quite a small screwdriver to get in there

 So what we want to do now is go turn the power off at the circuit breaker because we want to work on this while the power is off. So I'm going to go turn that power off now and then we're going to test our doorbell again. Okay, we turn the power off at the circuit breaker. So now when we test our doorbell, it no longer works, which means we're ready to remove this existing doorbell and install the new CASA doorbell

 And then you can see how that would look with your doorbell there, just like so. Now in order to do that, you're going to need to put this piece on, which is the mount that is going to be what holds the doorbell in place. So you can just install this straight ahead. And if you were to do that, you would just put this piece on right here and then you're going to mount your doorbell to that

 Once you get that cover off, we're ready to install the micro SD card. So we've got the doorbell faced upwards right now with the camera at the top, and then we're going to take our SD card and you see this got this beveled edge right here. You want that to be facing upward as well and then the interior side is going to have those contacts on it. So we're going to insert it just like this and then we're going to press down to get it all the way in there

  Overall, I'm very happy with this, our fourth (and hopefully final) attempt at adding a doorbell camera!  Update two months later: The software supposedly lets you limit notifications to no more than one per 5 minutes. But that feature doesn't work. At least not for me. Very annoying when someone is out front trimming bushes or mowing the lawn

Though, I'm concerned that what if something triggered such as Internet outage or my Internet router went down, it may cause the problem again which I would hate the perform the re-install again.
