 It also contains graphite to help draw heat away from the body since heat retention can be a problem with all foam mattresses. The particular blend of foam that's used in the Mint has 30 percent more graphite than the foam used in the Original mattress so it's a step up in terms of cooling abilities. Below that is a two-inch layer of TNN adaptive foam. The foam for this middle layer is denser to help reduce motion transfer and it contains tiny gel beads that stack under pressure providing support while also creating channels for hot air to escape

 Overall the Casper Original mattress may be a better fit for stomach sleepers because the added section of support foam prevents your hips from sinking too far into the mattress. Back sleepers will also be happy with this mattress. The Mint may be a better fit for side sleepers as the foam tends to let you sink in a little more and alleviate pressure in your shoulders and hips.  It's going to be more affordable than a lot of other more upgraded soft beds like the Casper Nova and the Puffy Luxe. However, at the MSRP price of $1800, it's kind of harder to recommend because it is an all-foam bed and normally that high a price point is reserved for hybrid beds. Even something more luxurious like the Wink Bed Gravity Luxe is usually more affordable than $1800. However, they might become more consistent with their discounts

 So you have a thick layer of dense support foam at the very bottom, and then right above that support foam you have a transition layer of what Tuft & Needle calls their Mint layer. This makes it sound more like a cookie of some kind as opposed to a mattress, but it is a nice soft yet responsive foam that's going to provide you with a nice buffer between the primary comfort foam and the support foam. And then that primary comfort foam is going to be the proprietary T&N Adaptive Foam. This stuff is used in all the beds from Tuft & Needle, and it strikes a really nice balance between comfort and support

 They give you 100 nights, which is the online mattress standard, to sleep on the mattress at home to decide if you actually like it and it suits your needs. If you decide that it doesn't for whatever reason, you can return it and get a full refund, but if you wind up keeping the bed, it comes with a 10-year warranty.
