The Ultimate Ears MEGABLAST is a portable Bluetooth speaker that comes with built-in support for Alexa voice assistant over a Wi-Fi connection. It's small and lightweight, and it even has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, though we don't currently test for this. Megablast hands down it's loud 93 db it weighs less than 3 lbs or the Megaboom it's just a little less loud than Megablast but they offer a aux port so if you loss bluetooth you can hard wire to the phone or another speaker that has a aux port. The Megablast is wireless to other Megablast units via App so service on your phone is required for additional added speakers but it will play just one Megablast at a time. If your phone is newer (android 10+) your phone will be able to play 2 bluetooth devices at the same time. If you only want one speaker and that's all MEGABLAST.

But if you want a big, powerful Alexa speaker you can take anywhere, the Megablast is a great bet. I currently own the UE Megablast and although it's loud, it can be really buggy and the range on it is crap. This speaker would be used mostly for beach side, vacations etc so it would need to fit in my carry on bag.
