 I have the tribit stormbox the stormbox micro 2, soundcore flare 2, earfun uboom, jbl flip 6 and I would take any of these over the wonderboom 3. Out of all of them I would say I like the new flip 6 the best which the only downfall it has is the lack of 360 sound openness the other speakers have. One of the biggest issues, is this speaker was just released and they chose to not include usb-c charging and instead stuck with micro usb!? The only other speaker I have with micro usb is the original stormbox which was released a while ago so it gets a pass. There is no excuse for the lack of usb-c on a newly released small speaker in this price range

 As far as taking this outside it has an outdoor sound button which makes it even louder at the cost of losing any sound quality it had. Overall there are lot of better choices out there in this price range and cheaper price ranges that surpass the sound quality of this speaker.

 It projects loudness because it has a big emphasis on the upper mids and highs which gives it a very bright and lively sound but not one I care for. Some folks may not care at all about bass and this speaker would be great for you. As far as taking this outside it has an outdoor sound button which makes it even louder at the cost of losing any sound quality it had. Overall there are lot of better choices out there in this price range and cheaper price ranges that surpass the sound quality of this speaker

 Every early review I could find stated that the 3 had better bass and overall sound than the 2. If that is the case then the 2 must be a really bad speaker. Sure this speaker sounds pretty good but for anyone saying this has bass I'm struggling to hear where that bass is.

  When it comes to ordering two of them for pairing, if you want full surround sound speakers, these are not meant for you. Imagine high end tv speakers but you can place them wherever you want while being able to carry them in your hands with ease, that’s what WB3&2 are. However, if you want speakers that live up to their name, look no further. The prices are haunting, but you won’t be disappointed

  Downsides > fairly long time to charge, recommend charging over night. WB3 are a bit better at this but > will die within 3-6 hours if you are playing loud music that uses a lot of bass or has a lot of things happening. (Playing at max volume but like a movie or podcast doesn’t cause this) There is a little catch of the speaker gets hot > it will drain the battery faster and will get to low battery(the white light will turn red) quicker. If the speakers are too hot, they will shut off, and I mean hot to the touch

  Again, they are expensive, you won’t be disappointed, but at the same time you’ll be heavily missing out if you don’t have two of them(WB3 or WB2) for the stereo sound.  I hope this review helps, please ask any questions you may have.

 I though it wasn’t possible, but I make instrumentals and WB3 has a more punchy bass with richer/clearer mids and highs. If WB2 was a 9, WB3 is def a 10. The outdoor mode does louden them, but only so much(it is perfect for keeping the music). The distance when they are paired before they start to distort can be fairly large but not large distances

 Okay I'm just going to play a song just so we can see the drives move. Check them out and make sure it sounds right boys. Alright. Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh All right guys so this is my verdict so the speaker does sound very very loud The sound is very good from every angle

 This one is better, so it's got the buttons and their functions. Right, let's put that aside and let's focus on the speaker itself. So as you can see, massive buttons, I don't think you can miss these. And then on the top we've got the Bluetooth button, power button, play and pause, previous song and next song

 So the vocals were very clear, this speaker would be great for dance music, for listening to classical music, I've got a song to play and let's hear it. Alright, another thing I've noticed while playing the music is as I was turning around the speaker and I was listening to it from every angle I have no idea where the driver is housed. I have no clue where it is. For that particular reason I'm gonna do a teardown of the speaker just because I'm curious to see where the actual drivers are

 Is it good at everything it does? Absolutely not It lacks bass. So if you do want a very good speaker, I would recommend the JBL flip six All right, guys. Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3 Review

 I bought this along with a Megaboom 3 expecting to have a perfect duo of portable mids and highs and a bigger more stationary speaker handling the lows. I literally couldn't believe it when I went to troubleshoot and found out that UE decided not to allow the wonderboom to pair with the other speakers in the lineup. I am going to try to return it, or sell it secondhand. I have a UE boom 2 and a UE boom 3, but I was hoping to have a smaller speaker like the wunderboom which can easily be clipped almost anywhere

A great little speaker with sound much larger than its physical size and the same sound clarity I've come to expect from UE's speaker lineup. My main gripe is that it's not compatible with the double-up/party-up feature that all of the other boom speakers have. I bought this along with a Megaboom 3 expecting to have a perfect duo of portable mids and highs and a bigger more stationary speaker handling the lows.  This speaker is extra crispy and fully loaded with big bass. All you have to do is tap the outdoor boost for audio that's ideal for the great outdoors. Additionally, the speaker offers 14 hours of playtime that makes it great for use outside. The IP67 design also ensures it can withstand dust, dirt, and even a splash

WONDERBOOM 3 Bluetooth Speaker Review

I'm truly disappointed with this speaker. I work outdoors and I bought it because of all of the raving reviews online but it does not live up to it's expectations. The sound quality is good but for outdoors, the volume could be a little louder. I know there's an outdoor boost button, but I've been hesitant to try it only because of it's lack luster batter life

 But for an actual outdoor job where you need to both hear the music and have it last at least 8 hours? Not a chance. This speaker is truly awful.

 It's supposed to have a 14 hour battery life on 70% volume, but around 80% volume it's cut to 6/7 hours. That's half already by only adding 10% volume!! And at full volume I only got 2 hours! If you want to huddle around a campfire and have some music for a couple of hours, this speaker will do you fine. But for an actual outdoor job where you need to both hear the music and have it last at least 8 hours? Not a chance. This speaker is truly awful

 So just a few things to point out. One is saying that this new speaker has bigger 360 sound, which yeah, it's pretty much been one of the highlights of these speakers because it does have a sort of uniform 360 design, which is nice. There is now an upgraded battery life up to 14 hours supposedly, which is pretty, quite a massive upgrade, especially against the likes of some more recent Bluetooth speakers like the Sonos Roam, which I think, if I remember right, is around 10 hours. So having 14 hours is not a bad little feature there

 But as you're going to see now when I pull this out, it is micro USB. I know, I almost can't believe it myself, a product in 2022 that is still using micro USB. I thought that, honestly, that the Kindle would be the last thing to tout that before that finally moved over to USB-C. And yet somehow that is what is still happening with the Wonderboom 3, there it is

 I really need to put this to the test against tracks that I really know and are familiar with. But from what I can see so far, there is a little bit of an upgrade over the audio quality over the predecessor. Point of rather the point that is worth noting, however, is that this comes in at exactly the same price as the Wonderboom 2 at 89 pounds. So for everything that you get, it's easily the one to go for
