 So what's very cool and unique about the Terraform is that we can use the ins and outs of the unit combined with the pre, post and normal switch to use some of the effects in the Terraform in the front of the amp, before or after your drives or distortions, or on the effects loop of the amplifier according to your preferences. Any recomendations on a multi modulation pedal? I have a mooer modfactory pro, lot's of effects get a volume drop and ther's not much tweeking around, depth and speed, that's it. Also I find it kind of dark sounding and I feel it doesnt handle distortion that well. so, I'm thinking of selling that and  an overdrive I don't used to buy something more decent. Any recomendations? because of import tax reasons, it has to be cheaper than 200 USD, obviously looking for used, I've been looking at reveb, and i've seen some eventide modfactors, and the blue line 6's, bt they seem kind of big, don't know if I'd have that much space on my board. But if they're the best options, I'll make em fit. Boss md 200 looks like a good option, and then the line 6 m5 stompbox modler, is specially atractive in it's price for 80 bucks. Any thoughts on these or other ones I might be missing?

Multi Modulation Pedal

  The tremolo effects are solid but less exciting, at least to me. The autoswell effect is pretty useless--the tracking isn't great and it's just kind of silly. I already have a volume pedal anyway. The autowah seems decent enough, but I'm pretty disappointed in the envelope filter

 While I really don't find much use for these sounds all the time, it's nice to have them all right here, and for the most part they sound excellent.  The flanger sounds better than the MXR unit, and the phaser, chorus, and dimension settings all sound as good or better than any standalone effect I've heard. But where I really fell in love with the terraform was when playing with the u-vibe and rotary effects. Just fantastic

 Worse still, sometimes lights on the whole unit just seem to fade and none of the buttons of knobs respond at all, requiring me to unplug the terraform from the power supply and reconnect it.  So overall, I was really excited to have all of these effects in a small, inexpensive, and (mostly) great sounding package, but for a $300 piece of gear, the unreliability of the terraform is simply unacceptable and I've returned it.

Sounds great but highly unreliable

Wampler Terraform - I did this for the same reason as the Spires. I got a bunch of sounds inside of one box. Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water - this is the best chorus on the board and the CGC Kilobyte has modulation chorus in the repeats and the Terraform has two types of chorus. But then I don’t usually leave the mix knob high enough to get chorus and instead get warbly vibrato random vinyl warps and the lo pass gate is something special

Can't say enough positive things about this easy to use modulation pedal. Sounds are fantastic, as with any Wampler. The U-Vibe is simply to die for. No deep complicated menus, everything is straightforward

Fantastic Pedal, But...

 - Presets where it matters. The Terraform and the Clockwork each have 8 preset slots.

Really happy with my latest, greatest small board

This pedal is my "I never typically use any of those sounds" pedal. I don't have many uses for auto-wah, or slow gear type swells but with this pedal, I have high-quality options to tinker around with when I get curious. It covers a lot of ground and Wampler knows what he's doing so it sounds great.  It's a GREAT option for when you can utilize a switcher like the boss ES switching systems as you can control it via midi

Great option for those who want to explore modulation

I don't use modulation effects enough to justify multiple pedals taking up space on my board. This has everything i need (and then some) with a small footprint. The Zoom Multistomp pedals can do LOTS of decent effects in a small package, but they can't scroll through presets AND handle tap tempo at the same time using the foot switch. This one can, and sounds quite a bit better too

Thoughts: Terraform sounds fantastic. All of the modulation effects are usable and the option to create presets is really cool.
