 Nothing special - and i was kind of hoping for a little more because of that 21 cfm of airflow the same thing with the carpet deep, clean test where i embed sand into medium pile carpet and weigh the bins before and after a five minute run there. It was above average, but i was still hoping for a bit more, although i liked the app and thought it worked well, once i got it installed, i did have trouble getting it installed, but in the end it was because i needed to go back to the App a certain way after connecting it to the wi-fi. So it was an operator error thing, but i don't think it was very intuitive. Also the 3d scanner system, which i was never able to really discover exactly what sensors it uses, but the system isn't 100 accurate

 I did most of these tests on its standard power mode and it really didn't require me to put it in max mode at any point. So it's really good at its basic job, which is picking stuff up off of floors in terms of power. Dream says it has 4 000 pascals of suction on max power, which is a lot twice as much as the advertised amounts from premium robots about a year ago, which was around 2000 pascals. In my test, i found it to be well above average, with its airflow on max power at 21 cfm, the dream z10 uses a spinning, invisible laser called lidar mounted on the top of the robot to map out your house and navigate around, and i found that It did that flawlessly with both the small and large room tests in the studio, but also at my house, where it mapped the upstairs and downstairs on the first try with nearly 100 coverage and without getting stuck

 I'Ve tested it's not the most premium, but it's not the least premium either. You can even control the water level in the app which is not usually seen in this style of pad, and it does really good with typical spots on hard floors. I'Ve been trying to think of some new tests for robot vacuum mops. I want to find a way to more fairly measure the differences between models, but i'm not quite there yet in terms of figuring it all out

Lastly, the mop is very good, I have a small kitchen and it does the job noticeably well. However, you have to keep taking the mop off and on as and when you want to mop, and in my case, if you’re using the reusable mop, you have to clean it every time, because it is that effective at mopping that it just gets full with dirt after one use. One improvement that could be made, is an automatic lifting device for the mop, so you don’t have to take it off when hoovering over carpets, it detects a carpet and a little motor lifts the whole mop up so your carpet doesn’t get wet, I’ve seen it implemented elsewhere, but paying nearly twice the price for a little lifting device for the mop isn’t worth it. One other small gripe I’d say, is that maybe Dreame could make a bag-less version in the future, so you can just empty the bin and not have to fuss around replacing bags every 2 months, and I would hope that these bags are bio-degradable

Upon receiving this product, I noticed that the materials used and the packaging provided was incredibly well put together. I took out the beast-of-a-hoover and right then and there I knew I was going to enjoy hoovering for once. All that you need to do, when taking the hoover out of the box is put in the little spinning brush, it click in with ease and trust me if I can do it, then you can too. 

This bot is one of very few that used LIDAR as well as vSLAM, which in basic terms means that it uses both cameras and sensors, as well as lasers to gather insightful information such as detailed mapping of a room, as well as which obstacles to avoid. It is honestly a sight to behold, especially when you see it avoid something such as the dog  or a dog toy, and it does this all in real-time, it’ll have the maps taken beforehand as a template, but it’ll detect objects on the fly, and this is what makes this product so magnificent. This pinpoint-precision tech tells the hoover where to hoover and what lines to take in order to most efficiently and effectively vacuum. The suction is powerful, it cleans my carpets perfectly and gets those little crumbs, dirt that I can’t see, and even flakes of skin that shed due to my psoriasis too! Effectively the Dreame z10 pro has changed my life for the better

 The dust bags do have a nice slide down cardboard door, do you won't have flying dust as you carry it to the trash.  SUCTION POWER Is not lacking. For the first month I let it run on high suction power giving it a chance to thoroughly clean any areas I have missed, with my upright and cleaning exposed new spaces when I move stuff around. We live in a rural desert area and decomposed granite pebbles, goat head thorns and all manner of inside debris we create, this picks it up, bit will leave change, pennies, nickels, dimez quarters on the floor

 And you will turn the TV volume up, but is quieter than my full size upright purple Dyson.  MOPPING I find it takes more time to dampen and install the microfiber pad, fill and place the water tank then designate where not to or not go on the app, then it takes me to use my Dreametech H11 cordless wet/dry mop machine, which I adore. This robot does more of a damp dust mopping and won't clean up dried on spills. It's great if you have an entire home of solid floors that need dust mopped freeing up time for other things

 For the first month I let it run on high suction power giving it a chance to thoroughly clean any areas I have missed, with my upright and cleaning exposed new spaces when I move stuff around. If you've never had a robot vac, they vacuum everyday if you let it and it takes roughly a week for it to do what you would do once a week with a powerful upright corded vac. But once it has the mass debris under control, it will keep it under control even with pet hair

 Although it will go right back to where it left off to finish the job once it's recharged and as long as you don't interfere by touching its buttons or using the app.  OVERALL THOUGHTS It does a great job at keeping my floors tidied up daily, so I only have to do some minor hand vacuuming touch ups or deep under furniture or tight corner cleanings whenever I make it a priority, which is about evey 4 months. I like the auto empty alot! But I hope they start making it with a bin to instead of the antiquated disposable bag, which is pretty small for people with shedding pets. This is my favorite robot vacuum so far, mostly for the automatic emptying, and it swifly moves through the house.  APP I don't use the app frequently, since our wifi is sketchy at best. I'll pull it up only if I need to change the time of programming or to check for firmware updates. If it gets stuck somewhere I'll find it when I get home

Dreame Z10 Pro Review: The Best Robot Vacuum To Buy

I had a Xiaomi Mijia robotic vacuum (precursor to the roborock) and it SUCKED, kept throwing the "main brush blocked" error every time it touched even medium-low pile carpet.  After getting sick of dealing with it, I threw it out and and bought an Ecovacs Deebot with auto-cleaning base and obstacle avoidance.  

I've had the ecovacs for about a week now, and I've decided I'm going to return it, because, while it's way better than the Xiaomi one and does a great job cleaning, it still gets stuck all the damn time, and I can't "set and forget it" while I'm at work, which defeats the entire purpose of having it.

The vacuum I think I want is the roborock T7 Pro, but that seems to be only available in china, and it only works with the Mi Home app, which I had to use for the Xiaomi and it was an awful awful app.  The T7 Pro is apparently the same as the roborock S7, but it has the camera based AI obstacle avoidance that the american model doesn't.  I'm not getting a vacuum without obstacle avoidance so that's out.

The Roomba s9+ appears to be the best cleaning robot, but it's 3+ years old now, and also is missing obstacle avoidance, which even budget-priced vacuums have today.

I can't seem to find one that checks my boxes.  The one I see recommended the most on here is the Ecovacs deebot, but I tried that and it sucked.

I need a vacuum I can "Set and forget", that won't yell at me that it's stuck every single time I have it try to clean while I'm out of the house.  I don't care about the cost, I'll spend 10 grand on one of these fuckers if it can actually friggin' work without needing to be babysat.  Any recommendations?

I ended up buying the Dreame Z10 Pro based on recommendations in this thread, and I couldn&#39;t be happier with it. I&#39;ve had it for about 3 weeks. In that time it has only required human intervention ONCE, and it was because it got into a fight with my swiffer and somehow flipped itself over (LOL). It cleans excellently, the obstacle avoidance really works, it dodges socks, cords, piles of clothes, and all the other obstacles that the other vacuums I tried would get stuck on. Edge cleaning could be better, it only has one side brush instead of two like the Ecobot that I tried, but its worth the tradeoff. Mopping also sucks and is way worse than the ecovacs, but like I said in my post, I really don&#39;t care about the mopping since my house is almost all carpet. I highly recommend the Dreame Z10, it was just over $500 after taxes on amazon, and I have a tried several vacuums, and this is the only true &quot;set and forget&quot; one.

 Hello, developers?  Lastly, I have used Rosie to vacuum the master bedroom and bathroom, on an as-needed basis. I open the app, select Rosie, select my bedroom, and press the arrow button. Away she goes! She is low enough to get under our bed, which had not been vacuumed since we moved in. The dust bunnies were in fear of their lives

 My first priority was creating a zone of the kitchen and part of the family room for Rosie to sweep every night while we are sleeping. In the picture, that’s Zone K. I purposely left crumbs on the floor to see how complete a job Rosie would do. She not only swallowed those crumbs and all the others, she sent me a note when she was done

 I removed our bathmats because, once again, they were too high for Rosie.  Rosie is not perfect; probably no vacuum bot is. She struggles with high pile carpet, she cannot effectively map and vacuum at the same time, she did get caught on a power cord once, and from the professional reviews I read and watched, she is not the best at wet mopping dried Tabasco sauce off the floor. Haven’t tried it
