 Well I can tell you. if you want the short version of this review, I think I found my new favorite mattress. I love this thing. It's such a great comfortable mattress

 Quite satisfactory, I should mention too, and it kind of inflates itself. which is really cool. Anyway, like I said, I can't really say enough good things about these things. It's super comfortable

 Great quality and comfort. So this is a 12 inch one. It has a one inch quilted cover on the top which is microfiber and then it has a one inch of this responsive memory foam. and then under that is two inches of standard memory foam

 I don't know if you remember those from years ago that were like ten thousand dollars when they first came out, or they were just pure, this rubbery memory foam that you sunk into. you could barely get out of. They they were okay, they were different, but you'd wake up just in a pool of sweat because there was no breathability. This one is not like that at all

Let me start by saying that I have chronic pain issues with my back and hips. I realized a couple of years ago that the 4-5 year old spring mattress I was sleeping on was causing me a lot of grief. And so I began a quest for a "better" (as in, better for me) mattress. I've tried multiple mattresses--three different memory foam mattresses (including this one), one hybrid, and two different expensive, popular spring mattresses

 As it has worn in, it doesn't rebound quickly at all. So I wake up numerous times throughout the night and have to physically lift myself out of the pit I'm lying in (which is miserable when you have chronic pain), in order to turn to my back or to my other side. Also, there are permanent low spots that don't rebound ever now, and it's only three months old. I'm an average-sized woman

Mixed feelings about this mattress

 You might remember the tempur-pedic mattresses from the past that were popular too, but they cost a lot of money. They were very expensive and when I would wake up from that, I would be in a pool of sweat. And so with this Zionist uh mattress, I don't have that issue and I and I get a great night's sleep on it too. So it's a very comfortable mattress

 Unfortunately, this mattress will not work for me. I need something that is not going to wear down so quickly.

 Should state that I have lower back issues (and go to a chiro every month) prior to owning this mattress. Part of the reason we bought a new mattress was to get some relief from my issues while sleeping. My wife, on the other hand, has no issue, so basically we decided to see if it was my side of the mattress and turned it around 180 degrees. Seemed to work for me and my wife was still sleeping fine

 it's a personal thrill of mine. That being said, this was a huge miss for our family and I hope this helps someone looking. We decided to give it 3 stars since it was fairly priced, shipped quickly, and looked as expected.

 On our backs it was fine, but still very firm. We both didn't sleep the first night and I ended up moving to the couch at 4:30am. For reference, we feel the Leesa is on the firm (but forgiving) side as well and this was by far firmer.  In hindsight, I wish we would've tried the Ultima or the cheaper Green Tea model

I have been sleeping on the "Zinus Memory Foam 12 Inch / Premium / Cloud-like Mattress, Queen" for about a week now and I am very happy with it. I got this bed because I have suffered from lower back pain when while sleeping for over a decade. There were times it took me literally more than 20 minutes to get out of bed because the paid was so bad. For the past few years I have been taking 800 mg's of Ibuprofen at night

 But, to keep the receipts. Without them, there is nothing you can do if a problem arises with my new mattress. The actual call to Zinus was nice, there was a recording at first, that apologized for being automated and that made me smile. Within a minute or so I was connected to a real person

  The mattress is advertised as having a 10-year warranty that should cover either replacement or prorated refund. Don't count on it. Zinus has notoriously terrible customer service and is rated F with the Better Business Bureau for unresolved and unresponded to complaints. Customer service runs around in hoops asking for the same things like pictures of every different angle, again and again

Four years in...

 I did this for the 4 days I let it decompress and continue to do it even though it has softened up already. I wanted a Tempurpedic but also didn't want to spend $2000+ on a mattress, so I looked into other memory foam options and that's when I found Zinus. I am a pretty lightweight person, typically between 100-110 pounds, and some foam doesn't recognize that there's a person there when I lay down. So, I opted for the cloud mattress that Zinus had on offer in hopes that it would be soft enough to actually cradle me

 Yes, I paid extra for the extra inches and it is a bit annoying to not actually get them. On the other hand, the 10-inch mattress likely would not have expanded to a full 10 inches, so it's really just kind of misleading. I have seen reviews that show the mattress at a full 12-inches, so it is possible, just not likely I suppose. That is the first thing I will say because I feel it is a very important thing to note right off the bat

 With all that said, it's obviously not a perfect mattress and I will make no claims to that. It is, however, a fantastic mattress for its price point. I don't mind that the corners are a bit scrunched, and I don't mind that it never fully expanded. I care about a good nights sleep, and that's what I got for my $300

I waited two weeks to write this review to make sure nothing happens in a short time and also to make sure I wasn't going to write a spontaneous review. After two weeks, I am still extremely happy with the comfort and excellent sleep it provides.  In summary, if you want a very firm bed, the Leesa is the better choice

 The Zinus is a full 3 inches thicker than the Leesa and it makes a huge difference.  From night one I was extremely pleased.  Don't let the price difference fool you into thinking Leesa is therefore better, it is worse if you seek a cloud to sleep on.  The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I have slept on "slightly" more comfortable mattresses in my life. But those mattresses cost over 2500 dollars and should not be compared to a 200 dollar mattress.
