Acer Chromebook Spin 514 vs Toshiba Chromebook 2 CB35-C3350

I benchmarked this machine with Octane 2 and got a score of around 12000. Not bad for a Celeron. So.

In comparison, the Asus Chromebook Flip has a 1.8GHz Rockchip RK3288C ARM CPU (a lower-price and less-powerful processor), and 4GB of memory. The Core i3 CPU helps the system boot up and load quickly. It's not a processing powerhouse, but for an affordable Chrome OS laptop that will mostly browse the Web, stream video, and run a few applications, it's plenty fast

6-pound weight makes it awkward and heavy to use handheld as a tablet. But, the touchscreen does support USI pens so putting this down on a desk or on your lap in tablet mode to draw or write on the screen is certainly doable. The display doesn't get terribly bright, though, and that makes it tough to see past reflections when working outdoors or next to a sunny window.

Windows 10 is a much bigger improvement, however, no matter how much you may hear from others, Windows 10 is still a heavy system. I have an ASUS UX305CA which has a core M processor. Battery was dead juuuust after arriving. Bought replacement battery. Replacement battery cord was too short. Displeased with product, it more work than its worth

Battery : Possibly the most dissapointing part of the chromebook, I almost hope that I did not properly charge the battery as the on time I saw out of the laptop ( with medium brightness and backlighting ) was no where near the 11 hours promised. This was also paired with the extremely inacurate battery time predictions - 100% with 3 hours left was far from the norm, and the time actualy *increased* as the batterly went down - leaving me doughtfull of the software behind the predictions - toshiba, up your game. 3/10.
