 This is an ideal machine for someone (like me) who wants high quality PC gaming without the fuss and hassle of constant upgrading or tweaking of standalone components.  If anybody has any questions or feedback for this review, please let me know in the comments!  UPDATE#1 6/5/17: The nVidia GTX 1060 card just fritzed on me, giving me a "code 43" error. No combination of rebooting, uninstalling/reinstalling hardware or drivers has been successful. So I have initiated a warranty return and service

 I keep hitting the up arrow instead. Just writing this review is getting annoying.  Does not have G Sync which is a bit of a bummer but for the price it is not that bad. Also, I don't really care about it that much

 I will update this as I run across things that I like and don't like to much. Pros:  The price for these specs is just unrivaled. I have been looking for a laptop with these specs for a reasonable price and nothing has even come close. If you look at laptops in the price range they either have a 1050, which is crap, or a 1060 with 3g, which is also crap

 Why I consider this to be a con is because when gaming it will need to be plugged it. Since I plan to game with it more than anything else that battery is going to get wrecked by having it plugged in 24/7.  Update 6/13/17 Decided to return the laptop. I enjoyed it alot when it was working

Amazing for price

 Some people may not like the black and red stuff, but, to me, they look very good and I like them. I wouldn't have any problem to show in public places with my laptop, unlike other people who wouldn't like to get all the attention because of the gaming accents on the laptop. Overall, the laptop has great performance, gives great experience and what is more, its price is the best! Would totally recommend buying it!

 The battery life is pretty good as well. It can last for 5-6 hours when using it for easy stuff like browsing, working, listening to music or anything like this. When playing, it lasts for maximum 2–2:30 hours. In my opinion, it is a very good battery and I am totally satisfied with it

Exactly what I was looking for: an ultrabook level laptop which can handle anything you throw at it! Thin, light, and sleek, but under the hood, packs a Ryzen 7 5800H and an RTX 3060 with 100W TGP, and advanced optimus (aka, the mux switch).

Overall, a great buy if you want a light laptop with excellent performance, capable of playing AAA games at maxed out graphics!

4) Corsair software drains battery: was surprised to see the laptop drawing >15W of power in idling, when the CPU Package only was drawing 2-5W. Tried disabling the Corsair services, and now getting fantastic battery life: 4-8W power when idling and mild web browsing, with occasional hikes to 12W during Youtube playback. Easily lasts more than 5 hours, and PassMark BatteryMon actually estimates 12-15 hours of total time!!

2) Powerful performance (Time Spy scores: 8125 GPU, 8912 CPU on performance); Was getting 70-90 FPS on Horizon Zero Dawn with all settings at max in native 1080p resolution.

The Lenovo legion slim 7 is a great product. It has a nice/responding keyboard and an efficient layout. The fingerprint reader is also a nice touch. One minor issue I have with this laptop is it's battery life

The port selection is also limited, however, I appreciate the fact Lenovo shipped this computer with an additional USB C adapter

Got it too, as a result of getting sick of waiting for the Legion 7 with 3070 to be available in my country. The more i use it, the more I'm feeling is a really good value for the money. Got it on discount for around 1500 euro, which is a very good deal considering the laptop prices in my country now. Even more so: The European version comes with faster RAM contrary to the the slower ones, which are used in the US versions of the Advantage Edition and the Lenovo 5 Pro

Ended up getting the rog strix g15 advantage edition. Couldn’t pass up on this value.
