Performance

But there are plenty of drawbacks that give me pause. Update: I ended up returning this laptop as the freezeups were happening more, even after I finished doing all of the windows/driver updates. Perhaps those will be fixed in future firmware patches, but I'd rather get a computer that functions "correctly" from day one. It's weird because as I mentioned, overall performance of this laptop is very impressive and far outshines my old 2 core macbook pro, but I don't have the same freezeups on the mac (running windows) - I imagine that this has something to do with lack of AMD drivers or something

This laptop is seriously worth the price.

so after a month of owning this laptop i have noticed that it is faster than my overpriced mac desktop in every way. update and restart in 22 seconds. i have not noticed any jitters or connection issues like others have stated.

Size

Great, easy to use laptop

Also, I really love the size of this laptop. It is not thick and bulky at all. It is very thin and lightweight and is great for traveling and being able to work on the go. Overall, i'm a big fan of this laptop and all it's features

Loved the first one and bought a second for my son

I gave up a separate number keypad to have a smaller and lighter laptop. If I was dealing with a lot of numbers I would look at a different machine or buy a sperate keypad for those times.

Battery Life

Great laptop for students on a budget!

The charger plug doesn’t fit nicely into the computer. I have to push it in harder than I would like to get it to charge, and I always worry that it’s going to break. However, the battery life is so great that I’ve only had to charge it once in the past three days. I’ll update later when I’ve spent more time with it

College laptop recomendations

Battery life is enough to get through a whole day of use without having to recharge (with everything set to max and shitting on all energy saving options). I really like the pre-installed Samsung apps for productivity and they make maintaining the notebook fairly easy. I almost bought a Microsoft Surface 3 but that was a little too expensive for me so I went for the Samsung one, to propose another device.
