 so they have these again. two little/\s/ buckles here on your main pack. there. again/\s/is two little buckles that easily snap in so hands-free your backpack is just hanging out/\s/it's very comfortable

 you just have to unclip here and there is/\s/a zipper at the front that you can zip a smaller/\s/ backpack into. so start with the smaller backpack/\s/one really great thing about this is that it is/\s/ so compact I use it around town all the time even/\s/when I'm not traveling, it fits really well I have/\s/ a 1 liter Nalgene that I always carry with me it/\s/fits perfectly in here. They also have front water/\s/ bottle holders I don't finally spit my 1 liter/\s/Nalgene so I normally just put garbage or things I/\s/ need easy access to anything that keeps me quickly/\s/in and out. There's also this small pocket at the/\s/ front here and it fits quite a lot of things

 there. again/\s/is two little buckles that easily snap in so hands-free your backpack is just hanging out/\s/it's very comfortable. One thing is is that it/\s/ does like bounce a little bit so it does kind of/\s/do that. but again I found this was the best part/\s/ of it

 So when you open/\s/it up, the zippers are really smooth and they don't/\s/ get caught very easily this time. Pill in here/\s/right now so when you open it up, it's pretty roomy/\s/ there is a laptop spot in the back and so when/\s/I was traveling in Southeast Asia in Australia/\s/ I had my MacBook Air which is a 13-inch laptop and/\s/it fit perfectly here. I Also was carrying my Kobo/\s/ which I put in this front pocket is before that/\s/and it is padded is padded on the backside more/\s/ so than the front, but I never had any issues with/\s/that at all. It fits quite a lot of things

 I just wish Osprey can reduce the main compartment size and increase the day pack volume, and add some mod con such as multiple outside carrying pockets (it's not hard to do, the competitor's bag did it). I look forward to any future improvements.

 What I do like about the bag: - Very comfortable. The maximum load I carried was 10kg and the terrain was rocky and hilly, the loaded bag didn't bother me at all. - Love the belt stowaway cover. - Inconspicuous in color and look (after belt gets stowed away), useful for crowded and unsafe places

 - I was fairly careful with my gear but after the trip I discovered 3 holes on the day pack mesh pockets and some scruff marks on the main compartment. Compared to my partner, who picked a bag from a competing brand, the Farpoint feels really old fashioned. What I do like about the bag: - Very comfortable. The maximum load I carried was 10kg and the terrain was rocky and hilly, the loaded bag didn't bother me at all

I bought this pack for a 4 week hiking trip in South America based on positive reviews on the net. During the trip, I discovered so many little things that can be improved to make this bag truly great but in it's current form it just misses the mark: - The bag is just a tad too tall to be carry on compatible. The main compartment is about 5-7cm taller than then general carry on luggage restriction. - Conversely the day pack is a bit too small and flat

Comfy bag but need some improvements

 The Reason I opted for the small/medium model is that seems to fit the overhead bin for most airlines, so I don't have to check in the bag. It doesn't technically meet the dimensions of a carry-on bag, but I've never had an airline forced me to check it in due to it's size. Plus, it easily slides into the overhead bin without any problems. Keep In mind though, that you will need to detach the day pack in order for it to fit

 This Backpack has more of a suitcase style opening, which gives you plenty of room to pack and fit items. I Find this to be very helpful in getting items in and out of the bag. Number 9: Lockable zippers. The Main compartment zipper is also designed to be locked, which is perfect if you plan to check in your bag or store any valuables when left in your hotel or hostel room

 Number Eight: Large Zipper opening. Most Backpacks have a more traditional top opening which forces you to pack from the bottom of the bag to the top. This Backpack has more of a suitcase style opening, which gives you plenty of room to pack and fit items. I Find this to be very helpful in getting items in and out of the bag

 The Daypack has become my go-to bag for day trips and hikes. It not only has a sternum strap, but also small touches like a built in whistle. Like Other Osprey packs that I own, it looks great and is very functional. Number Three: Lightweight and durable

 I've seen online so many different amounts that this bag is going for I got mine off Amazon for 90 pounds However, I've seen some of them are a hundred and twenty pounds. I'm gonna leave a link in the description of where I got my bag but yeah I think around 80 although up to a hundred and twenty you can get this bag before if I'm honest, don't worry about the price too much. This is gonna have all your belongings in and everything that you own. So if you're gonna spend some money before you go, don't worry about the clothes so much in my opinion

 You zip all of this up and it tucks away and to keep it down I'll show you how that works. So you literally fold it down and then you roll it like this. it's like a little Bowl or pouch and it literally velcro's underneath and it stays there. and then you have your backpacks here which you can adjust and you have the waist adjustments here which go around and clip it and that's another thing here

THE BEST BACKPACK TO TAKE TRAVELLING! - OSPREY FARPOINT 55 REVIEW

 There and like I said, if you don't need them, you could take them away and leave them at home. I do want to mention that this pack does exceed the carry-on requirements for, or restrictions for, domestic airlines, so it will need to be checked if you plan to take it on an airplane. Overall, it's very convenient and very simple. It offers enough organization without being too much it's great for adventure travel or just going from place to place

 There are two buckles right on the front here, one at the top one at the bottom, and there is a zipper that holds this pack on. You can simply unzip it and the whole day pack will come off. So it's a really convenient little pack to use as your personal item when you're going on to a plane or a train, any type of travel and we've got a suspension system on the back of this pack as well. So, just lightweight shoulder straps padded, shoulder straps and a padded ventilated back panel, so very comfortable, lightweight and flexible

 On the inside of this day. Pack, there is a lot of organization so open it up. I'Ve just got a jacket in there now to kind of stuff. It out to show the size i'll set that aside on the inside, we do have a large laptop sleeve in the back

 So it's a padded sleeve. You can easily store a laptop or tablet they're, small laptops. Might I add, and a mesh pocket for some additional organization so overall, very large capacity with a lot of organization? We do have a scratch free pocket on the front here so great for some glasses and three players or anything you don't want to get scratched or damaged. There is a pocket there very nice place to store additional items and, as I mentioned, those stretch pockets on the outside, so very convenient little day

Um, I want to say that I I flew Delta so I don't know about every airline, but I flew Delta and I was able to carry both bags on every single flight

 But that's where I kind of wish that like a shoulder strap was included to make it more. that could like zip in. that could make it more like a duffel because I just didn't see much reason on my trip or have much of the opportunity to zip them together. Like I said, when this one's super full it makes this really hard and awkward to zip on top and I had some valuable stuff in this one like my camera and all that so I didn't want to like

 Now one thing when I was looking up reviews about this bag is everyone was saying you know when you unzip this little bag, you cannot carry on This part Like oh people are saying, oh, it's too big, like there's no way they'll let you carry it on. Um, I want to say that I I flew Delta so I don't know about every airline, but I flew Delta and I was able to carry both bags on every single flight. all four segments. Um, didn't have to check the bag at all and it fit perfectly in the overhead

 You can't put it in here and then in here it would just be like in the overhead bin in the plane or whatnot. So there's there's no real way to bring my laptop. So when I'm on a trip where I need to be doing work, I can't bring this bag. Also when I'm on a trip where I have a car or somewhere I can stash my bag all the time, there's not really a need for this bag like this bag is more for the backpacking trip where you're in Europe and you're taking trains and you're going place to place and you need to have everything with you at all times because you don't have like a hotel room or somewhere to stash it in

Osprey Farpoint 70 Backpack Review

 I typically put my charger and everything in here and let me show you my computer. So this is my computer. It's kind of a small computer, but nonetheless a computer and it fits in here perfectly. And I'll show you if you have any other computers exactly where it goes

 it was in the hundred of dollars and compared to anything else out there. if you watch other reviews on what backpack you should bring, some backpacks are like three four hundred dollars and I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna buy a 400 backpack personally to go backpacking because usually if you're backpacking, that might mean you're on a budget like I'm paying 16 a night for hostels. I don't want to pay 500 for a backpack. you know what I'm saying

 I think I brought this around Honestly, most of my days it saved me. I love this thing. When I was looking for a backpack, I also needed something that had a place to put my laptop. and it does have a little laptop pocket right in here so it does stretch out

 Now this issue is a bit of a catch 22, because if the laptop compartment was at the back of this pack you’d have to unload the whole thing to get to it. Alternatively, some bags have a separate laptop compartment behind the main compartment. This is usually great and we love them, but we also love the function of being able to hide our straps away. It’s hard to include both of these features cleanly in a pack

. if you want to wear this bag like a briefcase? We took ours off straight away and never had any need to attach it, that’s pretty much all you need to know.

The shoulder straps on this pack are comfortable and well padded. Plus you have the added sternum strap and hipbelt for added load-lifting comfort. The hipbelt is nicely padded and doesn’t flail around when not locked. And the sternum strap doesn’t dig in, all solid wins in this department

The second, smaller compartment at the front of the bag looks like it has loads of room when this bag is empty. However, when the main compartment at the back is full, there’s really nothing going in there. The space is just too compressed. This is a shame because when buying the bag you’d think “oh great, I can cram a load of stuff into that front compartment as well,” but sadly you’ll be disappointed
