JBL Reflect Mini 2 vs Sony WI-1000XM2

I've been a Forerunner 245M user for almost 2 years and never had any problems with my bluetooth connection while running. Nowadays (since 2 months?) my bluetooth connection is horrible, it stutters a lot and listening to music is unbearable while running outdoors (indoors everything is fine). First I thought my Redmi airdots where broken but I have tried a lot of different buds and they all stutter. Is my device broken or? I saw someone suggesting to wear my watch on my right wrist and this seems to work but I don't feel like wearing it to my right wrist, especially since it worked flawless before

Who thought 2 is enough these days? * Worse, switching devices is a pain, you have to disable Bluetooth on the device you are connected to in order to connect to the other. Contrast that to Bose where you tap and hear the headphones cycle through devices, stop to connect. I never realized how well Bose does this until discovering how poorly Sony does (and apparently this is true of most headphones other than Bose). * But at least you can plug in the audio cable to connect to your laptop and use a wired connection

If bass motivates you during your workout, JBL's Reflect Mini 2 earphones are unlikely to disappoint. The in-ear fit is secure, the design is water resistant and reflective, and generally speaking, there's nothing to complain about here unless you are looking for an accurate, transparent sound signature. Out of the box, these well-built and decently comfortable earbuds have a warm and dark sound profile well-suited for vocal-centric genres like podcasts. However, if you prefer a different sound, their companion app offers a graphic EQ and presets so that you can tweak them to suit your tastes. Their continuous battery life of over eight hours is fairly solid, and they have a standby mode that can help you save battery life when you're not actively using them.

They will not start put, and while I have them on they are uncomfortable regardless of what squishies I try or how I turn them. They constantly fall out. I couldn't share a review of the sound quality simply because I can't wear them. For that they get a thumbs down from me, dawg

JBL reflect mini NC. Active noise cancelling, 10 hour batterylife, and stay in ears very well. They also have talk thru- and ambient aware-modes.

These headphones last 8.6 hours continuously and have a standby mode to help conserve battery life when you're not using them.

I use them mostly for running and found that if you wear them reversed and the cord over the ear they stay in much better. They are not noise canceling ear buds and don’t claim to be. You can clearly hear everything around you which is good, especially when running on the streets. Battery life is about 5 hours but there is no real indicator, you hear “battery full”, “battery good”, or “battery low” when you turn them on but that doesn’t tell you how much time is left

The Sony WI-1000XM2 are the newest model of the WI-1000X line. Improving on design more than hardware, their silicone neckband and carrying case look sleek and refined. Unfortunately, these headphones have a decreased battery life when compared to their predecessor, even if they charge slightly quicker. Their sound profile is also darker and lacks bass

I'm very disappointed with Jabra 85t , didn't expect such poor performance when outside the wind noise is just unbearable and I tried both M and L gels . I think its not the problem with the gels seal but the venting holes even with ANC on there is quite an amount of wind still hearable although dimed . Compared to my JBL Reflect mini NC Jabra fails flat when it comes to outdoor activates , the mini performed far better without any ANC then Jabra 85t with ANC ON. For the price I paid for 85t I'm quite disappointed and I believe there is nothing Jabra can do it is a design and engineering failure

Their ANC feature also does a very good job of isolating you from a range of background noise, from the low rumble of bus and plane engines to ambient conversations. They also support NFC for easier pairing and can connect simultaneously with two devices.

Took a bit to figure out how to place these in my ears. No marker to say what’s left or right. The microphone picks up everything in the background, making communications over the phone a bit frustrating. By far not the worse set of headsets that I have owned but I don’t think I will purchase another set from JBL

Unfortunately, their in-ear fit can be fatiguing over time. The buds can also fall out of your ear with moderate head shakes, which is a little disappointing if you want to wear them during a run in the park. Luckily, they come with several differently-sized pairs of ear tips to help you get the best fit.
