Very disappointed. Especially for the name and price tag. It does have great sound quality, connectivity is good and so far I haven’t had any issues. I dislike the guitar riffs it randomly tosses out

The bass is textured(you can hear bass within bass), very deep in rumbles territory, timing is slightly laid back but still tight and never boomy on any track. Mids are very clear, intimate, promiment, full, voice tones are very accurate. Treble is pleasant,non fatiguing, crisp and high quality. There is no overlap of any frequency into any frequency

I listen to classic rock and 80s metal so hearing bass and the faint cymbals clearly is awesome. But don't get this thinking it's gonna like pump an outdoor party. For my money, the soundcore motion boom is great for that. This speaker would be great for indoors

But I’m not finished climbing this ladder. I want something that does not have to be at 90% volume to perform how I need it to on average days at the house. I want something that fills the space at around 50-60% volume - and leaves me room for more if I want to entertain or host a tent revival.

sound stage comparable to woburn 2. there is very less dynamic compression at high volumes than woburn, so for loudness this wins over woburn. overkill for 16x12 room.

Any thought on something a little louder and more bass for group picnics? Would prefer something that is waterproof and loud enough for 20 people.

The trim on the older Stanmore feels thicker and better applied. The toggle switch has been replaced with a soft touch switch (do NOT like this, feels cheap). The addition of an app to control the equalizer is lame. The older version looks, feels, and functions better

I really love the Bose sound, however, the Marshall Emberton holds its own especially at a significant discount to the Bose line. The mids and highs are superior while the bass is inferior. This is our “travel” speaker so for the price it’s a keeper. Placement is key
