OK here goes  - I have found that the Zebra LV gel refills fit the Pilot Dr Grip perfectly.  I prefer the Zebra refills

Need help identifying what style of refills my pen uses

I bought this pen for ergonomics. It meets the claims of being comfortable with perfectly distributed weight, but I do wish it had a bit more of it. As a personal preference, I like a bit of heft.  The tip glides smoothly and writes well at an angle to about 45 degrees, which is what one can expect from a ballpoint pen

I've been using these refills for years and never had one leak and that includes multiple plane trips.

I've loved the Precise V5 for years, it writes perfectly for me. But they do have a tendency to leak, and I'm starting to get sick of that.

Any recommendations on something that writes similarly, but isn't such a quality roulette? I love the fine tip and narrow pen strokes - helps to keep my messy writing reasonably in check.

Got my first "expensive" pen, a Lamy safari rollerball

  My budget is \~$20, I could stretch it to $30 if needed.  I realize my options may be limited so any help is greatly appreciated.

 It must have leaked sometime during the night because it got all over every single pen it was sharing a container with. There was a 1/4 inch ink pool in the bottom of my pen jar. Of course this was found AFTER I got it all over my desk, papers and touching my face. My hands are still covered even after a decontamination scrub
