TP-Link Archer A7 vs TP-Link EAP235-Wall

Actually I don't have a lot of experience with all this stuff, but have spent time through my years of using computers that I kind of learned my way around. I used the internet extensively to search for answers and understand terms that were new to me. Because I have so many wireless devices setup, I didn't want to have to set them up again so I used my old network name and password. With the new Archer A7, I am finally getting the internet speed I've been paying for and so far, haven't had a drop since I used a new ethernet cable and the included adapter

I am currently using a Motorola MB8600 modem and a TP-Link AC1750 Archer A7 router. I also have Comcast Xfinity 200mb for my internet. I have had almost nothing but problems with the Archer A7, it worked fine for about a week, but now it disconnects 3-5 times a day; and I am pretty sick of not having stable internet. For the record, I am 95% certain it s the router to blame, as when I plug my PC into the modem, I have internet, but when I plug it into the router again, I lose that internet

Pay CLOSE attention to this unit, how it works, and what it does before you buy it!! 1) Omada interface / controller - as normal, great concept but total trash to implement. I de-registered the software, wiped the initial setup and started over rather than trying to mess with it (its only good for multipoint administration from a central location IMHO) - IE: I did the stand alone fallback mode through a web interface and fixed the problem (much simpler setup) 2) NOT a true "wireless mesh" unit. Only some (mostly omada) wireless networks will work with this thing. My "netgear" router and this unit would not work together for a wireless AP setup

I went from a TP Link Archer c7 which not only dropped out all the time, but the 5ghz was slower than the 2.4ghz.

5GbE (and it's essentially required to get much higher bandwidth than the EAP620). The router is the ER605/TL-R605 (same model, it got re-branded). On average TP-Link's products are roughly 2/3 the cost of their Ubiquiti equivalents.
