  I am still giving 3 stars for Swift X since power is there, ryzen 5800u is very usable, size and weight are quite good, although appearance is kind an old fashion, storage includes second ssd, screen is good, 3050ti is surprisingly powerful, I tried VR mixed reality and it was just fine... until today I got BSOD, which I did not have in years, after chrome did not want to play videos across YouTube, Facebook and any other web page

 I have screenshots where windows estimates 100+ hours, then 3 hours later and 30% less battery still gives 90+ hours. Totally amateur calculations, but more of a issue is that on a battery power laptop does not even turn off screen when using the same workload as plugged in, mostly Excel, and of course not always, but more than 50% of time.  There is a noticable sound lag when using internal laptop speakers. Extremely annoying, but when you connect headphones there is no lag at all

 Ridiculous but this is not Acer specific issues, previous Asus Zenbook did even worse - it would go to sleep mode only to discover that it actually force restart windows next morning when I open the lid. What's the best laptop you can buy for around $1000

Let me say this has great performance. It handled everything i threw at it, playing mid to high gaming with rtx and dsll enabled was cool - while even doing some media consumption and work on the side. However there were the cons, that made me think either acer could have done better with QC, or list it maybe for $800 instead. - build quality was not all that great, with the key travel being shallow and feeling soft/mushy - trackpad feels cheaper than it should be for a thousand dollar laptop - the rubber feet, although they raise the laptop good enough for airflow, are too slick

Just the biggest thing is that I want something that I can carry around with dedicated GPU (AMD or Nvidia) and something light which will last 7+ hours. I would prefer gaming since gaming laptops have very good specs but its okay if its not gaming.
