So what's my final score? Overall the Soundcore Motion Boom scored a 33 out of a possible 40 which is a solid 8.2 out of 10.

The speaker is advertised to be capable of playing for 24 hours in Stamina mode, and given its current performance, I have no reason to doubt this claim; again, Stamina mode is an satisfactory listening mode, so if longevity is a concern, you can listen all day without a problem. **9/10**.

Anker doesn’t exactly reinvent the wheel here, but it doesn't has to. The Soundcore Motion Boom may lack any real wow factor, but it's definitely one of the better sub-$100 Bluetooth speakers you can buy. The only issue is that there’s plenty of competition, namely from the two brands that seem to own this realm

* I have the Soundcore Motion Boom+ and love it. I've been able to eq it to my liking and haven't had any issues yet. With its Ip67 ive taken it on the boat and tubing without any worries. Its gone in the drink and continues rock out unscathed.

In the final analysis, this speaker is easy to recommend, particularly if you're looking for something that can play more loudly than your typical compact Bluetooth speaker yet doesn't have the serious heft of "real" boombox speakers like those from JBL and Ultimate Ears.

Soundcore Motion Boom : This is also a big speaker but it is a lot more portable than the Onyx not to mention, a lot cheaper too. Looks like a boombox, great for bass heavy music with a warm sound with good low bass, good highs but mids fade as volume increases past a certain level. Needs to be EQd manually for best sound , as out of the box sound is okay.
