 I bought this case on sale 49% of the original price. I bought it with the intent of being my office work case / home work case. It’s sleek in design and has more grip compared to the clear case I have. I don’t see it being durable; other reviews attest to that statement

 If you seldom drop your phone I’d recommend a buy at a sale discount. Otherwise, I do not recommend to buy at full retail or as an everyday, laborer, or weekender case. Lastly the buttons are not machined aluminum as the description implies. Quality control needs to be increased from Amazon and the original manufacturer

 The case is totally worth it and I got it at a deep discount, but know what you’re getting into if you decide to buy a “used” one. I haven’t had issues with Amazon Warehouse products prior to this, but this issue is due to how they label products and in this case the material of the product.

The case itself is great! Genuine leather, not too much bulk, and the tactile metal buttons feel like a natural extension of the phone rather than those of a case. However, although I bought a repackaged case from Amazon that came in “very good” condition, there was an Amazon inventory sticker attached to the back of the case! Peeling it off left unavoidable residue which is difficult to fully remove from leather without damaging it.  I was NOT impressed. The case felt flimsy and I felt if I looked at it the wrong way, I would break it. It was also paper thin compared to the one I had on my 8. I ended up going with the Otterbox Commuter, which didn't add too much size to the device, but I feel much better

This was not the case when I had the leather Apple case with my iPhone X. I took some electrical tape and applied it to the inside edges of the case and now it feels perfect, but this is something that should not be happening

 It is also kind of slippery when grabbing for it. The bottom of the phone is exposed asides from the corners. The side buttons are really easy to press. Overall I like this case for what it is

Not very protective, but looks great

I found this case to be good quality, but too slick to hold and overpriced compared to how many other good quality cases are available at a lower price point with more features. If you “must have” the apple branded case then this is the case for you, but for me, it’s just not worth the money.

Overpriced and plain, but quality is good

I am not sure whether it's may particular case, or leather cases in general, the case isn't the best fit. The side lips are quite loose. Even when my finger only slides onto side lips very gently, it looses a bit and I don't feel safe to put my iPhone in.
