 I mean the performance. You've seen it at high resolutions. I mean, when you connect this thing to a secondary display, you just get incredible frame rates and the fact that you get additional I O is just the icing on top of the cake. But here's the question: Would I buy the Rg Floor X13 alone? When you factor out the Xg Mobile? Well, I'm still on the fence about that

 As for the Xg mobile, with the Rtx 3080 Gpu, you're looking at an additional fifteen hundred dollars, which in total would cost you about three thousand dollars with the flow X13, and that's a lot of money. Temperatures are really well managed too, without anything to worry about, but I guess that's expected since Asus didn't need to work within the typical laptop thermal constraints here. As for gaming performance, well, first of all, the Gtx 1650 really isn't designed for this type of gaming guys, but it still delivers some playable frame rates. The only reason it fails in some games is its 4 gigabytes of memory just isn't enough for our settings

 You've got 16 gigabytes of ram, one terabyte Nvme, Ssd 120 Hertz 1200p display, and a Gtx 1650 all for 1500. Now the sample that we have over here has twice the memory and a 60hz 4k display. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what pricing is for this particular variant, but something to keep in mind is that this device just goes out of stock every time and Asus is trying to restock it every other day. I did check it this morning and it was in stock, but when you guys are probably watching this, it might be out of stock

This Gaming Laptop Does EVERYTHING!

$1300+. Only look for these laptops if you have a high budget or have a niche need. [x] Asus Flow X13 - Ryzen 5000 series chip, The only 13-inch convertible laptop with dedicated GTX graphics, insane performance.

PROS -Powerful, lightweight 2-in-1 with discrete GPU -All the basic ports I need (USB-A, USB-C PD, HDMI)  CONS -Buggy. Sometimes takes a couple minutes to boot. My wireless mouse stutters all the time so I can't drag (it randomly unclicks; a wired mouse works fine). -Poor battery life (as another reviewer stated, you can turn off the dGPU to extend life)

 I've tried the 32GB supernova model with eGPU but that was too buggy to use.  Currently running in tent mode to vent air up while driving 2 monitors at my desktop. Everything is running through one USB-C hub. My G14 40GB ran smoother but this X13 is more of a pleasure to grab and go due to its lighter weight and touchscreen

 16GB ram often runs at 50%+ usage from Google Chrome alone which slows down the system and makes the fan loud.  I got mine for $800 from Best Buy which seems reasonable, but this laptop feels slow with poor battery life to be a mobile daily driver. I've tried the 32GB supernova model with eGPU but that was too buggy to use.  Currently running in tent mode to vent air up while driving 2 monitors at my desktop

 However, as a gaming computer, it is only fair. If you want a gaming machine, look for something with a more robust video card and faster memory. If you want to blow almost $2K for the external RTX3080 mobile accessory, you might as well save some money and purchase a big 17" machine which weighs 7 or 8 lbs with a real video card and full range speakers including a sub.  Pros: The Ryzen 9 processor is excellent for a mobile machine drawing only about 6 watts at rest, but drawing about 50 to 60 watts when running at full speed (per core temp)

 Desktop: 6800; HP Omen - 5200; Asus: 4900. The CPU is very fast for a mobile processor and wipes the floor with the I7 in the HP. Both are blown away by the Ryzen 9 in my desktop. It is the video card in the but the GTX1650 in the HP outperforms the RTX3050 in the Asus

 There is a special key which allows you to access it. It takes some hunting, but it allows you to turn off the Nvidia video card so you actually get some battery life from it. It appears to have a real world battery life of 6 or 7 hours without the video card being turned on. It drops to an hour and a half with the video card on

 Both are blown away by the Ryzen 9 in my desktop. It is the video card in the but the GTX1650 in the HP outperforms the RTX3050 in the Asus. Even the GTX970 in the desktop blows away the Asus.  Great Mobile Processor: The Ryzen 9 mobile at 1452 pts wins the single core Cinebench over both the HP (1050 pts) and the Ryzen 9-3900 (1188 pts)

I looked at getting a refurbished Razer Blade (cool predatory snakes) but the best I could find with a touchscreen was a 17 inch USED on ebay for $1,900.  The reliability of Razer made me nervous so I'd only get one new and I think those are out of my price range.
I'm looking at an MSI on Amazon for $1,500 ("2021 Newest MSI Ultra Thin Creator 15 Laptop" (RTX 2060)), but it's a super boring -- no cool lights, colors, or lazer beams coming out of its arse.  And the predatory dragon logo couldn't be more muted.  That's what I'm leaning towards today because at least it has ONE dragon, but I feel like I need an onion belt.  This post is my last attempt at something cooler before just buying that.
Please don't tell me to buy a Yoga mat.  Even if it is sensible.  I've had a disgusting hp for 5 years, I want something not sensible.  I'd rather get an impractical, overpriced, used MSI Dragonshield spaceship with no touchscreen than something called Yoga.
I just want to say, "Thank you" to all of the gaming, laptop suggesting, pc building, laptop deals and battlestation-type subs on reddit.  You guys are lovely and your communities are awesome.  I went from knowing absolutely nothing about computers two months ago to knowing how foolish I am for not getting one of the new RTX-30 series graphics cards (I'll get that for my teen instead).

I'm looking for a unicorn: great for gaming, touchscreen, quiet and cool predatory animal logo with lazers and lights coming out of its arse. I can't seem to find the whole package around $2,000.

 Battery Life: It also comes with ASUS's Armoury Crate software which I like a lot. It unifies software updates and computer control in one piece of software. There is a special key which allows you to access it. It takes some hunting, but it allows you to turn off the Nvidia video card so you actually get some battery life from it
