Audio-Technica ATH-AD900X

Not a popular suggestion but check out Audio Technica ATH-AD900X or 1000X. They are great for gaming and super lightweight, very comfy for long sessions. They sound very airy and have a wide soundstage, bass is ok but not a strongpoint. The AD1000X are my go-to headphones for gaming and I own pairs like DT1990 and HD660S.

Third--I really value a wide soundstage. I like how the 58X images, but personally I feel like the narrow soundstage makes things blend together and clouds up some of the lower mids/higher bass frequencies. Overall, I just don't feel like I'm getting as much enjoyment out of them as I am with my lower budget Koss headphones or my Blon IEMs, which is a shame. I'd like to find an over-ear that better suits my needs and potentially sell these to someone who'd appreciate them more.

If you want a decent sounding pair of headphones with a detachable cable and solid build quality for under $200, I’d recommend these. A good alternative is the Beyerdynamic 770 pro, but those do not have a detachable cable.

For music the bass hits hard, clean and deep. The mids come through really clear, so vocals sound detailed and the highs do not sound piercing. If you want you can do further research, but they are probably the best headphones I've ever tried, personally.

There I found a deal that I could not refuse: ATH-AD900X and ATH-A900X, NOS/Open box for the price at the time of one of them. Bought by impulse without really thinking about it or even listening to them. I loved the design of it, it just clicked on me and it was what sold them to me. Love them to death after this years owning them.
