Canon PIXMA G1020

Some people really need third party ink for magnetic ink or white ink. I suggest you get the cheapest canon inktank printer , probably the G1020 or G1220. Make sure you print a letter sized A4 photo every week and the printer will last a good long time. You can print the same one over and over again.

Then find a canon G1020 ($200) for printing, 6000 pages of black ink costs $15, color ink is $14 * 3 for 7000 pages. The ink that comes with the printer will last you 1.5 years. Expect to change printer every 2 years or so. If you need duplex printing, get a G5070 ($300).
