 So the Kitchenaid is better designed in this area. The Cuisinart is lighter overall so might vibrate a bit more. The heavier Kitchenaid is slightly more stable when mixing. (However, the motor on my new Cuisinart mixer is quieter than the motor on my 15 year old Kitchenaid

 The higher power 600W motor on the Cuisinart makes a difference. I have a grain mill mixer attachment. It uses quite a bit of power to grind grains into flour. On the Kitchenaid, 300W is not enough

  The speed control knob is poor: ------------------------------ From an ergonomics perspective, I generally recommend knobs over sliders for variable controls. For example, light dimmers, volume controls, fan speed, etc. In the case of these mixers, I have found that it's the opposite: A lever is better than a knob. On the Kitchenaid, the speed control is a lever and it's sensibly placed so that the slider is frontback, making it relatively easy to operate

 The heavier Kitchenaid is slightly more stable when mixing. (However, the motor on my new Cuisinart mixer is quieter than the motor on my 15 year old Kitchenaid.)  The Good: ------------ The front of the unit looks better on the Cuisinart.  This is a great machine, especially for the price compared to other machines. You get a bigger bowl, you get the splash guard with pour spouts, you get a 500 watt. Motor 12 speeds stand mixer for the price of entry-level ones and other brands. Overall, we think this is a great Buy

 Or I mean you get what I say well enough about riddles and let's get back to it and then once you have it in then you twist to lock it in place and if you notice it also has a spring in our testing. All the accessories worked. Well, we did not have to use a scraper or spatula to remove any ingredients from the bowl.  You can really tell the difference of a 500 watt motor [ Music ]. We really like how the ball was big enough to store all three accessories and using the splash guard. You can actually keep everything in one place, so it makes it very easy and comfortable to store, because the last thing you want is moving a 27 pound newborn baby around. Overall

 We get the actual splash guard and the pour spout, and you can only install it one way you want to place the u-shape hole in the middle towards the machine, and then you want to twist it. So you could place the pour spout. The plastic itself doesn't feel that strong, but for the use is meant for it should do fine. You just want to avoid dropping it in any ceramic or hardwood floor

  Oh yes, I did try the more familiar-named mixer because my sister and several friends each had two of this brand's mixers. But after whipping evaporated milk twice for an ice-cream recipe, it started clicking on low speed and the higher I turned up the speed, the louder and more unbearable the clicking/knocking noise got. After returning it, I have been searching for a mixer that I could use to mix evaporated milk, make chocolate chip cookie dough, and bread dough. Frustrated, I read reviews and details on almost every mixer on Amazon and could not find one with all the features that I enjoyed on the first mixer and I did not want to spend over $400

 While the mixer was mixing bread, my husband walked by and asked, "Is it running?", he was just kidding as he could see it was running, but that was his way of saying it was not loud like "my other" mixer. I'm not sure if all Cuisinart mixers are this quiet, but mine purrs and does not remind me of a steam engine locomotive. So let me review the pros and con:  PROS: The mixer was packed well and came in perfect condition. Cuisinart's mixers are very streamline and shorter than my last mixer of comparable watts, bowl size, and features

 It is made of metal and of good quality. Found it very easy to use after reading the instructions before setting up. This mixer has a 3-year warranty compared to 1-year on the previous mixer. The attachments that I hurriedly bought for the "other mixer" fit my Cuisinart perfectly--what a nice surprise

 The "other mixer' came with a flex-edge paddle and glad it did because the flat paddle did no better than the flat paddle from Cuisinart. If a customer has arthritis as I do, it is very desirable to have the beater scrape down the sides and not suffer pain each time one has to scrape the dough/batter together for thorough mixing. Please bring this to Cuisinart's attention and I see no reason why Cuisinart couldn't become the best selling stand mixer available and replace that "other one". I would be happy to give 5 stars as soon as I have better incorporating beaters that reach all the ingredients, especially the flex-edge beater

 If you do mainly single batches with an occasional double batch, this is a very nice mixer.

 The paddle blade did a nice job of mixing all the ingredients. The blade has a better finish than the Kitchenaid, so it was much easier to clean off after mixing. The tilt head made it easier to use a spoon to check that all ingredients were mixed. The mixer is shorter than my Kitchenaid, so it does tuck away under my cupboards much nicer

 I am planning to get an 8 quart mixer in the near future, but figured this was a good stop gap. I was a bit concerned on how it would handle double batches of my cookie dough recipes. It actually did pretty good, with some possible concerns. The Good: It handled the dough fine, with some minor slowing at the lower end of the speed range

Nice mixer with a couple of flaws

 Perhaps older models, but it did nothing on mine and I ordered 2 mixers thinking maybe the 1st was a lemon. I ended up caving and grudgingly spending the additional 200 bucks on the more expensive mixer (you know the one) and after a couple of months of constant use, I'm glad I did it. I'm sorry 😞 but I could not in good conscience recommend this mixer. At the end of the day it was a decision of spending 200 for this mixer that is pretty much useless or spending twice for the other one (bought straight from the manufacturer website) which performs beautifully on its own and simply put, just built better

Good quality, but..

 I used a right angle ratchet screw driver and had to use all my strength the turn the screw 3/4 of a turn. If this had been a one time adjustment, it MAY have been acceptable. However, we believe we would need to adjust the head on a regular basis which made the mixer unusable. We quickly returned it and purchased a Kitchenaid from Bed Bath & Beyond

We wanted to like this mixer but had to return it. The mixer paddle could not go deep enough in bowl to mix an egg into sugar and butter. We followed the instructions found in a detailed online video to adjust the mixer height but could not find an acceptable height where both the paddle and whisk could work without adjusting the height each time the attachments are changed. Overall well made and designed, but it looks like I got a defective one unfortunately.

 Since I own many Cuisinart small appliances I felt perhaps this one was worth a try since the price was so reasonable. It's a very good mixer and is well built.
