 Terrible. I cannot add ingredients without hitting the the top of the mixer while the shield is on. I have to stop the machine, lift the head (which also hits the shield depending the position of the beater), there is just no room in this mixer for me. To return or not to return

 Without the spring the attachment can make rumbling noise and not work as they are supposed to near the bottom of the bowl. I am now waiting what the company is going to respond to my complaint.

Bought this reputable KitchenAid mixer last week but I am going to return it because the washer and spring that holds the attachment in place securely is missing. I spent $50 more than I planned because a merchant told me I have to buy more expensive model that comes with the spring. This is the top model "Artisan" KSM150PSGC and yet the spring is missing despite having it shown on pictures in the attached manual. I am so disappointed! Will have to keep looking for the right product

   Customer service rep instructed me to wash the bowl with a lemon juice and salt mixture to remove the residue.  However 1 or 2 washing didn't do it.  I scrubbed that bowl 8-10 times with lemon juice and salt, then a baking soda paste, and then vinegar before all the residue came off.  I ruined several batches of frosting
