 So we're going to be doing this in small/\s/amounts I'm going to pour a little bit in and/\s/ let it actually mix before we add all of/\s/it So add a little bit and let that combine. Add a little bit more, a little bit higher. now. So I'm just going to take my spatula so they are done as you can see/\s/from that little whip on the top of/\s/ the meringue

 Um, so yeah, it's 300 watts. It's got 10/\s/ different speeds which I'll show you it doesn't/\s/go as slow as some other machines. but luckily/\s/ I don't need it to go very slow and all of my/\s/brownie mixes I do by hand because I like to do it/\s/ with a spatula because then I find that it doesn't/\s/add too much air into the mix and the bowl um size/\s/ is 4.8 liters which I think is the same

 so as you can see on there, it's very fluffy. So/\s/we went up to speed 10 with that and it works/\s/ perfectly for meringues so that is not coming off/\s/of that whisk which shows how stiff it's made them/\s/ which is good. So we've got two egg whites in there/\s/so I'm going to be adding 60 grams of caster sugar/\s/ so I'm just going to weigh that out and then we're/\s/going to be adding that in. So I've got my caster/\s/ sugar here

 all of/\s/these attachments. These are all metal. so/\s/ as you can hear, and then this is a silicone edge/\s/so it means that they're unlikely to break some/\s/ attachments can be plastic and when you're using/\s/them every day, it's just going to break off. So to/\s/ actually put the machine down

Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer review | Testing the beater, whisk, dough hook and Pouring shield

A summary of all the issues I’ve had basically boil down to the mixer not being heavy duty enough. This really surprised me, because I’m not even a bread baker. I do mostly cakes and cookies, so it’s not like I’m making things that put a ton of strain on the motor. I also don’t bake crazy frequently

 I found that the gap between the mixer's head and the rim of the 5 quart bowl was a bit smaller than the shorter 4-1/2 quart bowl on our old mixer, and the difference made it more difficult to get ingredients into the bowl with the mixer head down. The pouring shield is a nice idea, but doesn't have a firm enough attachment to the bowl, and guides flour to the top of the beater paddle. It's also another thing that needs to be washed. Finally, the cord on this mixer was shorter than our older mixer, which made it difficult to position in our counter work area

Mediocre off-shore manufacturing coasting on the KitchenAid brand name

 Artisan Mini has a small footprint so it's gonna be great for small spaces. This model is gonna have the familiar tilt head design that you're going to be used to with KitchenAid and it's only gonna stand a little over 12 inches tall. That's gonna be great for tiny houses. RV Living and apartment under the hood is going to be a 250 watt DC motor

 These are notorious for not fitting underneath your cabinets. in smaller houses and old. From under the hood, you're gonna find a 575 watt motor with all steel gears. That's going to be enough power to knead through eight loads of even the stickiest whole-wheat You're going to notice this is not a tilt head design

 5 quarts is large enough to make nine dozen cookies or four and a half loaves of bread. Also included is a pouring shield and the standard trio wire whisk dough hook and flat via. The Artisan performed well in all of our chefs. From whipping egg whites the mixing cookie dough, the Artisan did a great job

 We tested the exact low slice food processor, the meat grinder, and the juicer as we thought they were going to need the most power to run effectively. The meat grinder and the exacto slice food processor did great. We did notice a couple issues with the juicer since the Artisan Mini is so short. the included cuts would not fit under the juicer, but a normal sized glass would fit under the juicer

It's the Rolls-royce of mixers at the top of every aspiring baker's wish list. But can you really justify its hefty price tag? The Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. Is it worth it? No, it's not worth it. I'm coming right out of the gate and saying this, folks, 399 dollars for this hefty, clunky wealth trophy for kitchen engineers is too much

 Every celebrity chef has one. They're sold in all the top stores, and it has become a visual staple for any reputable chef's kitchen. So people aren't buying these because they need them, or because Kitchenaid has some specific killer feature that makes no sense and no competitor can offer. They're buying these because they look nice because you can get one in any color you want, because they have multiple finishes, because it adds personality to your kitchen, and because without one, many people feel like they're missing out

What’s a kitchen tool that you thought you’d never need, but you use way more than expected?

While I'm going through the hassle of replacing my mixer, and again waiting for my model to come back in stock, I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I had heard rumours of Whirlpool's equipment not matching the original Hobart models in terms of quality, and I can't help but feel I wasted my time getting a top of the line KitchenAid Mixer. After spending almost a grand and half a year in getting this machine, it putters out almost immediately.
