I bought a babyjogger city elite when I had my first kid 11 years ago, and it's handled everything the next 3 kids could throw at it for more than a decade. we used the thing whenever we needed max comfort/capability/storage and it was the MVP of every theme park trip / vacation / intl trip for more than 10 years. 

i love the foam filled tires--doing tube jobs for stroller wheels suck. The frame looks as good as new, fabric looks great--nothing ever broke on this stroller.

I did a search in this sub to make sure this wasn’t a repeat or common question, and haven’t seen anything more recent than a few years! But delete if I missed it.

You guys killed it with wedding registry suggestions so now I’m looking for opinions on our new baby’s stroller.

I’m willing to splurge on this, if I need to.

These two things might matter:
We live in North Georgia in a neighborhood with a ton of hills. We walk a LOT and go on  hikes quite a lot. Not looking for the 4Runner of strollers, but we do take dirt paths a lot.

We want more kids so bonus points if it allows for a second child later on.

I’ve been looking at the UPPAbaby but a lot of people say it’s a status symbol and not that good. Is that true? I also hate that there’s a billion attachments needed to make the stroller actually function. Reminds me of an Apple product.

Lastly, and this is just my own confusion, but do most strollers come with the bassinet? I had no idea a baby needed to lay down flat for the first six months 🤦🏽‍♀️ but thinking about it, I swear I never see strollers with bassinets. That was news to me.

So I guess I need a lightweight, long lasting stroller with a bassinet and car seat attachment.

What's not to like? Yes it seems like a lot of cash for an umbrella. But when you hold this one and operate it you can see the quality. The weave is so tight on the arch that in the rain it sounds like the water is hitting a soft shield. It's sturdy and if you care for it I would say at least a good 10 years of use wouldn't be an issue if you use it's cover and take care of it

This is a good umbrella--it may well be a great umbrella. large, windproof--exceeds specs for the job. Up there well in range of classic British models but made in New York. Looks good too! I wanted something expensive enough that I would be disinclined to lose it or forget it--this certainly is
