DJI Mavic Air 2

And finally, why am I not gonna keep this drone? I'm not gonna keep this drone? because I need 10 bit color.

So I just got my dji mavic air 2 today and I flew my first drone for the first time and I have to say, truly a experience that just blew my away. Just to be able to fly into the sky and go wherever and see beautiful sights you only see when flying. I really didn't expect it to be so mesmerizing.

So do you think the Air 2 is superior enough to the Mini 2 that it would be worthwhile to pass up the fly more package for the better drone?. I don’t want to spend $1000 right now, but I don’t mind spending a little more than the Mini 2 costs. Nothing is set in stone though, I may wait a couple more months to budget a little more for it. But if the quality differences really aren’t THAT significant, I’m very happy to not have to wait.

After not being super exited with the image quality of my Air2s, I did a direct comparison to the Mavic Air 2 – and while the reviews online on the Air2s are mostly pretty great, I found that there are some features that are not as great as expected, and then more than just a few that I would actually call downgrades - I mean, both drones and cameras are obviously amazing, so this is very picky, but might be interesting if you have not yet decided if upgrading from the Mavic Air 2 is worth it.

And some learnings to make sure this doesn't happen again. Luckily it all ended well... On February 6, 2020, an Icon Helicopters Airbus Helicopter AS350BA N611TC and a DJI Mavic 2 drone collided in mid-flight during the King of the Hammers off-road race in Johnson Valley, San Bernardino County, California.
