Really highly recommended. It's an absolutely stunning drone for its size and price. Absolutely amazing

I purchased and received my DJI Mini 2 back in November 2020 and the first few days were great, it’s flew as should and I was a loving my new hobby. After the initial few day my unit started to become limited tot he distance and altitude it was able to fly. It would stop at 90ft altitude and 160ft distance.

It proved to me how many flagship drone features I actually don’t miss when they’re gone. The Mini 2 is a culmination of some of the best things DJI can offer inside a minuscule package, starting with an always reliable and steady connection, more than adequate camera, and a great software experience. This drone strikes a near perfect balance between price, mobility, and image quality

Honestly I don't know much about entry drones, but I imagine the DJI Mini 2 is probably your best bet when it comes to easy controls. Really cheap drones have terrible controls and is actually more difficult to fly.

We're rating it a bit lower than the Air 2, but if you're just getting started, and don't want to spend closer to $1,000 on a drone and accessories, the Mini 2 is absolutely worth considering. As for alternatives, DJI continues to dominate the consumer drone market, but it isn't the only game in town.

Dude my first time with a pro quality drone was also the mini 2 and straight away I went to 100 metres cos I trust it. Amazing technology jam packed into a sub 250g design. Just become a bit more confident and no more sweaty palms lol

For $50 more than the first version, the DJI Mini 2 is a better entry-level drone, and our Editors' Choice winner.
