Plus, if you work in excel a lot (like I do) it’s very functional. I’m rocking a drop alt and varmilo numpad plugged into the second usb c on the main board and it’s working very well for me.

Looking at the drop alt/ctrl for my first custom keyboard. Good choice?

Honestly it is a good board to get you started on customization. It’s hot swappable, 65% layout, and you can re-map the keys. What more can you ask for? Sure it is a little pricey but I’ve never heard anyone complain about the functionality and look of the drop alt and you can interchange every aspect of the keyboard.
