Finally finished my botanical build!

 I found that if I used the QMK firmware that is provided on GitHub and flashed that the problems I was experiencing disappeared. So, the online configurator that DROP provides delivers flawed firmware, which was causing the issues. Why they are behind an active open-source communities modifications baffles me. My best guess is that it is due to the generic online QMK configurator not supporting every lighting configuration that the DROP keyboard supports (e

 As soon as I switched back to my Ducky keyboard, it was night and day as far as key press response goes. When I contacted support about the USB and power on issues, and they told me they could not help me and I should ask in the community forums. It was at that point that I boxed it up and plugged in my Ducky One 3 TKL. I will be giving up the QMK customizations but shedding a company that does not care to support their products, which is a fair trade in my book

A Keyboard that DOESN'T SUCK!

Firstly my package arrived two days late. No big deal. I was just excited to see what a premium keyboard feels like. My initial impression was very good

They rattled terribly and the switches (Halo True) we're scratchy and not nearly as tactile as everyone makes it out to be

I did some research and found some stuff that I liked, if anybody knows anything about the quality of these parts (Are they good or bad ? I've been looking for a Brass Plate for 30 minutes and didnt find a single one but a Keycult one that I don't know if it's compatible. Speaking to someone in Dms if they have the time is preferable. How much of a diference does 5g of actuation makes (Black Inks vs Creams) ? I’m doing my first build and I’m kinda afraid that going on the “heavier” switch might cause hand strain on the long run. Tbh, I don’t even know the actuation of my current keyboard (MacBook Pro), so I might need help figuring out that too.

Any recommendations for/against the Ergodox EZ (or Moonlander)?  I'm starting to notice some wrist pain and want to move over to an ergonomic keyboard.  I like the split idea as I could, in theory, sit in a  recliner with each half on an arm rest, but the price is pretty high up there for me.

 I'm considering going down the rabbit hole that is mechanical keyboards. Any websites / youtubers you can advice that give me some clarification on where to start? (If I'd go for self building... Might just get a prebuilt)

I recently got a Keychron K6 swappable with MX Blues (this was my first real upgrade from a Blackwidow I've had the last 6+ years) and have a little bit of disposable cash to throw at this. I primarily use it for FPS gaming and regular browsing use.

I'm pretty happy with the switches, but wanted to know if there is anything else I can do to take my experience to the next level. Is there anything I can do to make my switches feel even nicer? I've read that the K6 keys feel a bit "cheap"-- would I see an improvement by upgrading to better keys? If so, are there any recommendations for what I should buy?

(9009 light\~ish gray) I hear that there is some on WASD keyboards, but they are low quality. I have also heard that there is some on Pimp My Keyboard.  Hi guys, so I just bought an anne pro 2, and is running the software of the keyboard that I use to have, and in that keyboard I had the ">" and the " < " in one key, and now in the anne pro 2 I dont have that key, that used to be on the left of the "Z". SO know i cant do that symbol and I dont know how to fix it! Help me please!

Price is not really an issue, but I would like to be able to purchase them relatively soon so I'd lean towards switches that are actually in stock right now. At the moment, Gateron Black Ink's are in the lead, along with maybe Tealios? Although I've heard the Tealios sound not that great. If you were designing your board, which switches would you use?
