  Topre is a switch which provides a pronounced bump at reasonable actuation forces: 45g and 55g. Halo clears being a 60g actuation with a 78g bottom out force makes it very tiring to type on. I am a person who likes to bottom out as they type, especially coming from Topre which has a very satisfying bottom out sound and feel to compliment its tactility.  When I type on Halo Clears, its a very forceful and tiring experience for me as I am attempting to bottom out but am circumvented by the spring force alone

Just bougth a vial of GPL205G0 mixed with 105 on aliexpress, but got a vial of GPL205G2 by mistake. Seller's going to give me a discount for the next purchase.

So I got this vial here and I can't find that much info on G2, other than is thicker than G0. I was going to use the orignal lube with some Gateron Yelllows, but what do you guys think about G2 with linear switches?

I was also going to re-spring some Halo Trues that came stock with my Drop Alt that I hated originally, but after switching the orginal spring with a softer one I like way more. Do you think that the G2 lube may be a better match for this tactile switch?

I'm generally new to the world of mechanical keyboards but I'm thinking about purchasing the Drop ALT barebones. 

I have my own plans for the stabilizers and switches but I'm a bit stuck when it comes to the keycaps. My primary machine is a macbook so I've been looking for keycaps that have mac keys but can't seem to find any. 

Does anyone here have experience with purchasing 65% mac keycap sets that can refer me to a website or direct link to a set? Will I need to purchase one set of keycaps and then make a separate purchase for the Mac modifiers? (My preferred profile is OEM, if that helps).

<p>I have my own plans for the stabilizers and switches but I&#39;m a bit stuck when it comes to the keycaps. My primary machine is a macbook so I&#39;ve been looking for keycaps that have mac keys but can&#39;t seem to find any. </p>

<p>Does anyone here have experience with purchasing 65% mac keycap sets that can refer me to a website or direct link to a set? Will I need to purchase one set of keycaps and then make a separate purchase for the Mac modifiers? (My preferred profile is OEM, if that helps). </p>

I have a Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro L and it's been working well so far. However, one of the keys has lost its ability to turn red, though it can do green and blue well still. Has anyone had any luck trying to fix this sort of thing?

Hey all! I am thinking of buying the Ducky One 2 TKL (MX RED) soon, as my first mechanical keyboard. Would you recommend me something different or anything that I should keep in mind?  


Edit: I'm not really geeky about keyboards so modding a kb or even building my own,  isn't really a choice to recommend me.
