If you'd prefer to go corded when searching for a vacuum to clean tile floors, the Miele Classic C1 PowerLine Pure Suction is a very good choice.  If the suction is not performing as it should do, you might have a clogged up filter. very easy to take out, just run out under the tap, let it dry in the air, and cover on a bit of paper somewhere, and then once it's dry, pop it back in. That's it. There is another filter up here, but I haven't changed that yet

 We've got carpets French wooden floors and travertine limestone type hard flooring. So the VA animal has been given a thorough road test in the last six six months and it's certainly a thumbs-up from me. Blokes do barbecues, mow the lawns, and now they use the vacuum cleaner around the house have a look to see what you think. So this is where our Dyson lives and our first floor multimedia cupboard

 Very easy to take apart. Press the red button and it comes away and you can put the other attachments on them which you can see on the video. So let me go push it. Clicks Thoughts: Oddly well-built good quality, and I use the motorized head about 99

 Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I give it a 9 out of 10 if I'm being honest, the only thing I'd like to see and no dirt is going to be on your next models that come out. I Would suspect is that they have a quick-change rechargeable battery so when this one runs now just like the air filters, you can whip one out, put the new battery in and away you go see doubling your came in time. So that's really the only thing that I'd like to see change

The stick vacuum is amaaaazing! I can clean the floors in my entire apartment in like 10-15 minutes.

  If you can afford the up front $400 and an additional $130 or so every two and a half or three years then this is worth it.

Very expensive total cost of ownership

I also took the nozzle directly on this rubber mat with holes meant to trap litter pellets, and the suction was so strong, it picked up everything with one sweep. I filled up a whole bag and then some at their house. &#x200B;. Since the vacuum is white and shows dirt easily, when I'm done vacuuming I like to take the nozzle to it and all of the parts, including the roller brush (cutting any long hairs that get wrapped around)

 While the machine is not overly heavy, it gets heavy lifting and holding it (with these tired old arms).

 I consider this a design flaw since most power tools are now available with a second battery that allows you to finish a job if your battery runs out. I find it difficult to work overhead with my Dyson, especially since it is necessary to continually hold the power switch in the on position while trying to clean air ducts and ceiling fans. While the machine is not overly heavy, it gets heavy lifting and holding it (with these tired old arms).

 My only complaints are that it takes a really long time (up to 8 hours) to charge and has been this way from day 1, the charge doesn't last long enough (less than 15 minutes on high power which is about long enough to do 1 room on my first floor), and I don't like the fact that there is no "lock" on the power switch so you have to continually squeeze it while vacuuming to keep it running. I think if you could change out the batteries it would go a long way to making many people a lot happier. I consider this a design flaw since most power tools are now available with a second battery that allows you to finish a job if your battery runs out. The best vacuum for hair (in my experience) is the Dyson V11 Animal (cordless so it's convenient to use...so it actually gets used)

I have 3 dogs and a cat. To say the shed is an understatement. I feel like it's fur fur fur all the time. We are moving into a new house and REALLY want to keep it clean from the get-go. Any amazing vacuums out there that can easily suck up all the hair and fur?? Also, we've been looking into roombas but wanted to know if anyone that has one would recommend it? Are roombas worth money?

What's the best vacuum for pet hair? And are roombas worth it?

 It's kept clean and free from any strings and debris, the filters are cleaned after ever use. I'm so very disappointed as this wasn't an inexpensive item.im not sure what I'll do.

Started out great, but

I bought a Dyson v8 animal+ for about $500 a few years ago at Costco and I love it they're going for $350-400 now. I think they have a v11 these days going for $600, but definitely in that price range you get what you pay for!

I have spent so much money on cheap ass vacuums that do a poor job!… I would love to get recommendations for a great vacuum….

Great Vacuum, Bad Ergonomics

I've been wanting Dysons.  Had a powerful model, but I just didn't need that particular unit - I'm a bachelor in a studio, so technically I don't even need a vacuum, but I would feel bizarre without having suction power for my cleaning needs.  

Been thinking about that Shark Cordless (seems cheaper than Dyson cordless).

And Black Friday is coming right up, so I'm mildly lucky.

Any thoughts, community?
