Smooth plan and simple to open top. Great keyboard with fair travel, clicky input, and a discretionary RGB backlighting.

Amazing performance and hardware design, but I've had issues with 11th Gen CPU model and the display output on the Thunderbolt 4 port turning off when the GPU is under load. I've opened a ticket with Eluktronics, so hoping updated BIOS firmware, Thunderbolt firmware, and GPU drivers can fix the issue.

 Can get about 2 hrs of streaming or basic web browsing typing work done. Gaming even scaled down to like 30 fps still dies in a little under an hr. The screen is very crisp and sort of vibrant, I really dislike that it doesn't have g-sync but still is not bad by no means with free sync.  Ok down to the major problem with this laptop

 I just would have liked a better fan and cooling system that what is offered.  TL:DR Really powerful laptop perfectly capable of running almost anything at 1440p 165fps. The one major drawback being poor cooling and really high temps.

  Guess time will tell how bad the extreme heat affects the life span of the lap top. Its not enough of a deal breaker for me to return it and try something else. I just would have liked a better fan and cooling system that what is offered.  TL:DR Really powerful laptop perfectly capable of running almost anything at 1440p 165fps

Ok Have been using this lap top for about a week. It is really powerful I can play almost anything at max settings 165 fps 1440p if not tweaking down to high. I like the way the Laptop came with no dumb stickers to peal off like the AMD or Nvidia stickers you have to peel off on other laptop brands. The packaging was really good and compact

Just as long as it isn't a fucking brick and is at least relatively easy to carry around without being too strenuous and awkward to hold or have in a carrying case or backpack or something.
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
If we're talking resolution, then 1440p 144hz+. I want to give it a try, especially for something I'm able to take with me to a lot of places. However, if this is the screen's overall size then N/A.
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
For the most part gaming. Maybe a bit of photo and video editing but that's it.

I want something that can handle all these and more at high or higher settings that can give me a good framerate overall, that would be great. Gonna be going to college in less than a year, and looking to purchase my first ever laptop. I'm going to be taking this a lot of places with me, including on trips and such, and I'll be mostly gaming and consuming media, along with doing schoolwork and some editing on top of that.

Besides Amazon failure to deliver my warranty papers as promised, and still have not seen them! The laptop is heavier than advertised but tolerable. I like the computer so far but little issue with power plugin being in the back of computer rather on the side..

Gaming alternatives to Razer Blade? (thin, clean, suitable for business but can game very well)

 It's also got two M.2 NVMe SSD slots for easy storage expansion. Overall build quality of the laptop feels pretty sturdy. The screen looks pretty good overall

 Overall build quality of the laptop feels pretty sturdy. The screen looks pretty good overall. There are only two refresh rates that you can set it to, 165 Hz and 40 Hz. I usually set it to 40 Hz when doing normal stuff on the laptop but I kind of wish there was an option for at least 60 Hz

 I ended up going for the slimmer MAX-15 model and so far I have been very happy with it (this is the refreshed 2021 model that has the webcam on top instead of the dreaded nosecam). It's a powerful laptop that does what I need it to and does it pretty well (mostly photo and video editing with occasional gaming on the side) although it's not perfect by any means.  The OS was a very clean install. Only things installed were the Elutronics Control Center and a custom Elutronics desktop background image, you really can't get any cleaner than that

 I've only test one video game so far with Genshin Impact (yes, I'm a weeb). Playing Genshin Impact on the highest settings works great without any hiccups, yes the fans are definitely audible but only on some rare occasions has the laptop sounded like it's about to lift off.  Overall, the Elutrkonics MAX-15 is a very solid laptop with some minor nitpicks that can be improved upon.

Great laptop overall!

The other laptops are either expensive, have bad thermal system or just bad build quality. Alternatively, the Eluktronics RP-15 or MAG-15 is the next best laptops for price and performance. You can also customise the upgrades.

So what can you suggest ? I think to buy  HP Omen 15t-dh100 , but people saying that bad cooling is problem here. Apreciate any advice in this situation , thank you in advance :)

Buying gaming laptop , need advice

 People who have complained of the noise this laptop can make when running hours into AAA titles, especially First Person Shooters like Call of Duty, need to try playing those games on other laptops and compare the experience. This is truly a great gaming laptop for the dollar.  Battery life / runtime is solid for a gaming laptop, compared to others in the market.  After running Windows Update to pull the latest patches and exercise multiple reboots, went to Nvidia and downloaded the latest GPU drivers, rebooted, and then started adding games

 No complaints on the physical build. Minimalistic look with black and dark gray colors and no garish branding logos. Keyboard lights do show this is a gaming rig, but the rest of the laptop shows all-business. Super quiet, silent, when not gaming; and low-fan-noise when gaming

 You get a lot of laptop for the dollar, and it's rated one of the quietest gaming laptops on the market with great ergonomics (e.g. location of connectors, keyboard feel, webcam position). Today's technology requires a lot of fan action to keep the high-end GPU graphics from Nvidia and AMD cool, but this laptop gets it done with less noise than most others
