$200 FULLY Portable Projector! | Emotn H1 Review

My TV recently stoped working and I was thinking of switching to a projector. Since I mainly use the TV as a giant monitor. 

I do have a sound system that I like to hook up with the system, and possibly able to link up gaming consoles and such.

I will likely be projecting to a white wall in the room, and there is probably lights coming through the curtains.   


is there a budget projector that can satisfy this? How much would it be? Or would it be better to just get a giant monitor?

Is there a cheap project that I can used in the living room or should I just stick with using a tv?

 Contrast ratio : Amazon description says 12,000:1, Emotn website says 3000:1. No way is this putting out a 12,000:1 contrast ratio. Brightness : 250 ANSI. Maybe although that seems a bit optimistic

Budget projector for bedroom

Functions well for tech oriented individuals requires fiddling with the controls and settings

 First up I think we should talk about the most important aspect of a projector and that is picture quality. This projector puts out a native 1080p resolution at this price point most projectors aren't able to do native 1080p they're using some kind of upscaling to upscale to 1080p. This projector also features 250 ASNI lumens of brightness which for my use case is perfect this gets super bright in dark areas of course with any projector you don't want to have the room as dark as possible but even if you turn the lights on you're still able to see the projection here and it is still usable even with the lights on even if there is some kind of light coming from the window you're still going to be able to see the image. When light source is added obviously the image washes out a bit but with 250 ASNI lumens this is plenty of brightness for dark areas

I can definitely see myself taking this projector outdoors on a dark night and watching a movie outside with my family. Not only does the projector support native 1080p but it also supports 4k playback so you're still going to be able to play all your blu-rays and other high quality content

 I do love these metal bronze knobs and controls up top and then we've got the mechanical keys so it's like a mechanical keyboard and I love how clicky they are that's really awesome so we've got a bluetooth button back button play button reverse and fast forward and then as far as our IO we do have an SD card reader so you can load up your movies and videos and songs to your SD card and just insert it there you've got a headphone jack you've got your audio video jack there as well you've got a USB port HDMI port this is your network port you actually have an optical audio port for premium audio and then you have your DC in for your charging. Also thought it was worth mentioning that this does have a tripod connection here at the bottom and it even has a little fold up foot so that you can get the perfect angle for the screen or the wall that you're shooting on. First up I think we should talk about the most important aspect of a projector and that is picture quality.
