 First of all, you will have to pay for fitbit premium to get all of your analytics, and so by that i mean they have some custom workout plans and some more deep insights into like your sleep and your spo2 and stuff like that, and the second drawback Is while fitbit does make things pretty digestible every now, and then it gives you information that you just don't know what to do with like it tells you like your skin temperature when you're sleeping - and i don't know what does that mean? How do i change that? Why is that? Is that a good thing or a bad thing if it's higher or lower they don't tell you a lot of stuff like that, and it kind of leaves you to do your own research so guys. Overall, though, i'm very impressed with this watch, i think, if you are between the fitbit sense and the fitbit versa, 3, it really comes down to if you're worried about your health, when you are not working out if you're, if you really want the ecg and the Eda scan and the stress tracking, then maybe the fitbit sense, but at that point it really wouldn't even be a question between the two of them, because you already know you really want the ecg, but for almost anybody else out there you're really getting the same smartwatch. Here the same design, the same waterproofing, the same interface, the same six day, battery life, it's going to be pretty much the same as the fitbit sense, but just a hundred dollars cheaper. So i definitely recommend this watch like i said much more competitive and i really think that for most people, the fitbit versa 3 is going to be the fitbit to buy so comment down below

What you're looking at right here is the brand new fitbit versa 3, which is the smartwatch you'd be buying if you wanted the latest fitbit, but you wanted to save 100 on something that is basically the same as their flagship fitbit sense. So in this video i'm going to talk about the design of this watch, what it's capable of the health features and what actually makes it different from the fitbit sense to help you decide whether or not you want to buy this one instead of the fitbit sense And save an extra 100 now starting off with a physical tour of this watch on the front you can see, we have the large. I guess it's a scorcle is what people are calling it's like a squarish kind of design, but very rounded corners, and it has a 1.6 inch amoled screen very bright, very vibrant honestly, just a really nice touch screen display here and it's water resistant up to 50 Meters, so swimming showering washing your hands whatever you have no problems with this watch

 Obviously, a heart rate strap is going to be more accurate and the good news is fitbit is generally known to release updates over time. So i believe it should be getting more accurate. As we progress, i'm excited to see how that looks, but for now uh the accuracy was not especially impressive with the heart rate, but the good thing is: if we go over to the gps, we can see again. The yellowish orange line is the versa 3

 Se, cheaper than the apple watch, six cheaper than the galaxy watch three like there's a lot of its competition that yeah they have rotating bezels and rotating crowns. But for the most part, this is doing a lot of the same stuff and in fact it even does some more things. The second big pro that i i really like the app for this. So they really do a good job of gamifying, your workouts and your exercise and encouraging you to stay active, which i think is one of the main reasons people are buying

 There are ways to import data through other integrated apps but none of them get the raw data in its mist useful and meaningful form. If Fitbit would accept data from other devices, I would be willing to pay for the premium service but that does not seem to be part of their plan.  Step Counter (5) - Fitbit is still the king of step counting. Seems to be the most accurate still although most smartphones can come close

I have been using Fitbit devices for nearly ten years. While I have been satisfied over the years my satisfaction has been lessoned over the past 3 years because of a lack of progress with Fitbit devices. Fitbit devices today are made for people who want to track steps counts through the day and occasionally track a moderate workout. Current devices are not made for anyone tracking a serious workout

 The reasons for NA to be included are explained.  Fitbit Application (4) - The Fitbit App is great. One consolidated place to track my meals and workouts including everything from activity to corresponding heart rate during the workout. The only reason it would not get a 5 is that it's only as good as the data it gets, and Fitbit restricts input to only their devices

 If you are an active person the Versa 3 will not accurately track your heart rate, not even close. I had some much trouble getting an accurate reading that made sense that I purchased a Polar H10 with a chest strap to compare data and the results are kind of embarrassing for Fitbit. I row for 75 minutes on a concept 2 rower with the resistance set to the maximum level (10). While my H10 shows my heart rate being consistent my Fitbit will show my heart rate as lower, sometimes by 50 beats per minute (bpm)

Less Impressed As Time Goes By,

 Ironically I use Google fit instead. That said. The Apple Watch battery is rough at one-day.

I've never tried an apple watch but had Fitbit sense for a week and I'm really enjoying it. Addicted to all the stats and great it all works through one app

For sole reason that Fitbit lasts for 5 days, i prefer it over Apple watch anyday. It does almost everything an iwatch does. So it's pointless to pay so much and charge the thing ever 18 hours.

I disagree, my Fitbit versa has a worse time GPS tracking, died from my 5ft pool (water ingress), and was at times slow/clunky. Integration with iPhone was simply not as seamless as it was on android. 


Conversely, the Apple Watch just works. Yes it needs 3 apps and I honestly don’t like the layout of them. Ironically I use Google fit instead. That said. The Apple Watch battery is rough at one-day.

It depends *what* you're talking about.

The Fitbit is an absolutely TERRIBLE smartwatch. So slow and laggy, even the simple UI can't function well. No way to see message threads, get email apps, etc. and no smartwatch features beyond notifications. But it has great battery life.

But it is a better fitness tracker, I can't argue that.

So it really depends what function you're referring to. Each watch is for a different purpose.

Apple Watch is a whole different class of device. Fitbit is great for tracking fitness and overall wellness in one place, but Apple Watch compatibility with iPhone is second to none. Many don’t really need all that can be offered from an Apple Watch, and Fitbit is great for those people. Simplicity is nice. 

That being said, I switched from a Charge 2 to an Apple Watch series 4 and I really haven’t looked back. I recently purchased a Sense because of, like you said, battery life of an Apple Watch. Couldn’t do it and returned it. There are just so many things that an AW can do on iOS versus what a Fitbit can.

I switched to Fitbit from Apple Watch and I love my Versa 3! I found the Apple Watch to be too big and bulky, the battery life was awful, and I was really only using the fitness tracking functionalities of the watch. I made the switch in November and I have zero regrets!

Do not ever switch from Fitbit to Apple Watch. I strongly regret not buying the newest Fitbit, which was the same price as the 3 series Apple Watch. The Apple Watch needs 3+ apps to look at the same data that Fitbit gives you all in one app. Also, Fitbit battery lasts like 5 days, Apple Watch lasts a day. Maybe.
