It looks like Grado is updating their 'e' range to the 'x' range of headphones, including new fabric-covered cables.

This link from a a German website (shared on head-fi), shows a new Grado SR325x, and explains that "...new cables with high-purity copper and a light bracket construction with sewn cladding are used". The 'e' range of Grado headphones has been around for a while, so a revision does feel about right by now.

A very clear, detailed, neutral-ish headphone. 6xx's seem a bit 480p in comparison to the Sunny's, but they're \*very\* popular but not precisely an upgrade. The HarmonicDyne Zeus is one I really wanna try because I'm a bit of a soundstage slut, but that's adjacent to the Sunny's, not a successor. The Grado Sr325x and Tygr 300r are also some adjacent additions.

Hifiman Sundara for metal and gaming or is there a better option for $350 or less?

I found them a bit too flat to my taste, which was the main reason for me to exchange them to Grado SR325x which are suck at gaming (G pads helps a lot though) but sound so sweet with any electric-guitar and heavy music genres.

Which of these 3 is the best for Fun listening?

The 660s is alright but I wouldn’t really say it’s anything special. Two headphones I would really recommend is either the Hd 600 or the new grado sr325x, I A/B tested the grado to the Hd800s and the Hifiman Arya and honestly it sounded more enjoyable then either 1600 dollar cans.
