I bought the expensive umbrella. The product was a great, huge patio umbrella which shaded my entire sitting area. UNFORTUNATELY - within 2 years the umbrella fabric faded and virtually disintegrated into a white powder, the rope controlling the umbrella snapped in two, and the swivel lock mechanism failed. Very poor quality
