Looking for a ok printer for copious amounts of paper

Good printer for a short while

I run the print shop for a payroll company, I print about 8-10K checks and stubs every week.  I have a stable of HP 9050 machines that are effectively at the end of their service life, plus 3 HP M608x machines which I bought last year but I am not entirely happy with.   

I’m looking for a wide-format printer (letter size paper must be able to print landscape not portrait), and a high-capacity tray that can hold 2,000 legal-sized forms.  Availability of MICR toner is a must since I’m printing paychecks.  I don’t need or want color.  I’m currently poking around Troy Groups website but I don’t see anything that really fits my needs.  If HP started making new 9050s, I’d buy 3 of them tomorrow.
