They are good, but again, I think if you're looking for a good headset, you can spend less.

Like I said, I think this is going to be my new go-to wireless gaming headset.

Honestly these headphones will surprise you. On a few songs like System of a Down's Violent Pornography, they can sound a tad bit piercing, but only a tad and it's not unbearable by any means. On 95% of the music I listen to, they sound great and don't have this problem. Even bright leaning black metal like Mgla doesn't sound piercing so I'm not sure what's going on with System of a Down's tracks.

The HyperX Cloud Alpha are good wired gaming headphones. They have a fairly well-balanced sound profile, though they're quite susceptible to fit, seal, and positioning, so you may experience their sound reproduction differently, especially if you wear glasses. They look very similar to the HyperX Cloud 2/Cloud II, and they're just as comfortable with well-padded ear cups and a flexible headband that isn't as tight on the head

Just got a new pair of HyperX Cloud Alpha (coming from Razer Kraken X), i can safely say that this is the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. Earpads are comfortable af, sound is 8/10, mic clarity is nice and overall solid asf build quality. First time owning HyperX products and not regreting it thus far.

If you're looking for a gaming headset with great battery performance, the ΗyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is the best we've tested. The manufacturer advertises these headphones to last for more than 300 hours off of a single charge, so they're worth considering if you don't want to recharge your headset very often. Their auto-off timer can also help conserve battery life when you're not using them

So I bought HyperX Cloud Alpha. Good but at 100 EUR I thought, why not trying something else?.

Whatever you use them for, there’s clear separation in the audio presentation, and the bass breathes naturally without stepping over the high frequencies that tend to get lost in many affordable headphones and gaming headsets. It just sounds really clean. And if the amount of bass isn’t to your liking, you can modify it in each ear cup with a bass adjustment switch located around its back side

In fact, even when going back to the HyperX Cloud Alpha that I keep at the office for calls, that sounded fine too. I could enjoy my music on that headphone too without feeling like I was missing out on something in the moment. If I'm not A/B testing things and looking for differences, most competent gear will sound good enough to me. In contrast, the Resident Audio RS15, a cheap headphone that came bundled with the electric keyboard that my wife got, never sounded good to me or my wife.
