If you're looking for headphones that leak less audio, you may prefer the HyperX Cloud Stinger. These wired headphones aren't as customizable as the Logitech G433 since they don't have any sound customization features. &Eta;owever, they leak less sound, so you're less likely to bother people nearby with your game audio, even if you crank up the volume.  I can't imagine that sounds all that great. So decision time. At the end of the day, I found these headphones to be pretty comparable to each other, and I had little nitpicks with each one, but honestly, they're really, really close. But if I had to pick, I'd probably go with the Razer Kraken X

 Compared to the more expensive Kraken models which offer cooling gel layer and heat transfer fabric, these are just your standard pleather cushions, although they do have some memory foam inside, and they do feel nice. They're pretty thick but with an airy inside, and I quite like the feel of them. I've used them for several workdays in a row, and I found them comfortable throughout. As I mentioned, these are budget headphones, so don't expect any of the usual fancy features you get with Razer

 So the last thing to talk about is the microphone. The biggest difference to me is that the ear hole is slightly larger, so they covered my ears better. So if you have large ears, these might be the preferable option. Now feature wise, these are pretty bare bones

 You know what, sometimes you just need a gaming headset that works, one with good quality sound, a decent microphone, and isn't going to break the bank with all those extra bells and whistles. Which is exactly what we're going to be looking at today. We have two of the biggest names in video game hardware, Razer and HyperX, and we're going to be taking a look at their cheapest headphone offerings, the Razer Kraken X and the HyperX Cloud Stinger, both of which run for an MSRP of $50, although it's worth pointing out we were able to find both of these for only $40. I'll say right now that both of these are pretty solid choices if you're looking for headphones within this budget range, but the question is, which one's better? Let's start with the Razer Kraken X

I have the TIN T2 (50 euros) iems and tried out the logitech x pro wireless "gaming" headset (150 euros). I tested them back to back. TIN T2 won miles and left the gaming headset look like can trash. Not only is tin t2 better overall, it also beats it in the very own category which this gaming headset was designed for.

I tried phillips fidelio x2hr, tried audiotechnica m50x, i tried beyerdynamics dt 770 pro, i even tried some akg headphones some people recommended, but all of them, in my opinion, and ill prob get hate, all of them sounded worse than my hyperx cloud alpha s headphones. The closest to beating them were the ath m50x but didnt because they lacked bass, the cloud alpha s are my fav headphones.

Anyone who shares this doesn't care about audio which is fine. I had a great USB gaming headset that sounded great to me and I'm huge on audio. Just depends on who you are and what you need. Plus gaming headsets have mics so it's much easier for gamers.

When  a buddy of mine was in the market for some new headphones that he would mainly use for gaming at his pc I recommended (and brought to work for him to try in our restaurant job) V-Moda M-100's. I gave him my Fiio m11 and those headphones to play around with and just told him how you would need to buy the separate boom mic attachment so you could have voice obviously. He said they sounded great, liked the clarity they offered. He's also said my voice sounded fine while we chatted in discord so I thought ok he may buy them. He ends up getting some gamer headset that offered "7.1 surround sound" like.... welp I tried. Granted like 10 years ago this pair of Razer headphones I had were super comfy and I enjoyed wearing them, I can't go back to gamer headsets after having something like what I currently own.

Imagine if an proper headphones company managed to make a true gaming headphones with a flat signature. Maybe a open back design with a flip out mic and cheap led lights. If they really want to go with the v sounds, built in eq that you can toggle or just software solutions.

Really disappointed people completely missed the point of "regular headphones." You and I know that the headphones we use aren't daily drivers for most of the people that listen to music, lol.

This is what I saw my friend shared.

 Being a husband and dad this is great for me. The headset helps me stay focused if I wish while still being able to hear my environment. The Quality. So far? The headset feels cheaper

 -- Short version: Headset feels great, sounds great, noise cancellation is fair as they are a passive set, and good price on sale. Not sure if they'd be worth $50 if they cant last. If they do.

 Ive used is almost every day for gaming, Disney+, and phone conversations. The headset has no visible wear or has parts that have broke. The sound and mic quality are as good as the day I bought it. The foam for the earcups and headband have no wear

 The 50 millimeter drivers do have their very own HyperX memory phone, they call it, on the inside, so again, also very soft on your ears, and they do rotate 90 degrees the ear cups do, so if you want you can lay it down flat on your desk. Or the popular thing now is putting it around your neck like this, but I think all gaming headsets should have. So this one definitely does, great addition there. And the last main thing we're going to talk about before we move on is the microphone

 So yeah, this is not a USB headset, which is another reason why you can use it with all the things like I mentioned, like the Xbox One, PS4, PC, your phone, the Wii U even, it's compatible with the Wii U, the list goes on due to the 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity. But since there is no crappy software, that means you're going to be getting stereo audio, which I prefer 10 times out of 10 over a fake emulated 7.1 or even a 5

 So to wrap this up with some quick pros and cons, I'm going to say hands down for $50. This is one of the best headsets you can buy out there if you're in the market to pick up a new gaming headset. Or if you're on a budget, this is just a no brainer for only $50. I've heard headsets out there that are double, even triple the price and do not sound anywhere as good as these do

HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset Review

  Pros: Sound CLARITY is good. When the sound produced is within the headset's capability (range) then I can't complain. Works well enough for all the games I played and mostmusic.  Cons: The sound range is bad

 I've had better range out of earbuds that came with my phone. Bass in rap music just comes through with a lot of static, especially when volume is turned up. Also seems to sometimes static or drop sound altogether for a second or two. This seems to happen for me especially often when there's layers of sound (Like listening to a Podcast while playing simple PC games)

 Dongle was detected, headset was setup automatically, and was seamless. Registered the product as instructed to enable DTS Headphone X.  Pros: Sound CLARITY is good. When the sound produced is within the headset's capability (range) then I can't complain

 A decent headset should produce OK sound that doesn't amaze but doesn't make you stop what you are doing. This headset made me stop what I was doing several times to try and make them do what I needed, even making me question if I got a defective set.  (Disclaimer: All issues I mention were thoroughly investigated, tinkered with, optimized, and troubleshot before making my conclusions. I did not contact the manufacturer, though I considered it)
