 At more moderate volumes, the bass sounds a little more full. For a speaker this size&mdash;especially a portable model&mdash;this is a powerful low-frequency output that will appeal to fans of big bass.

 The bass doesn't distort, even at top volumes&mdash;and the Xtreme 2 can get quite loud. It's clear there's some DSP (digital signal processing) at play here that thins out the bass slightly at top volumes, but not so much that the track loses its power.  This is really meant to have like that. Exciting sound signature where your bass is pumped up very high mids are pretty forward, but that's if anything, I would say. Probably the one thing that's pulled back the most where treble actually really shines. I thought with this having as much bass as it would that the trouble would kind of fall back and it never really did I felt like vocals and some things we felt a little more back than what I'm used to it

 The battery life is really good and it's again one of those things you just don't have to worry about now. The unique thing that I did want to point out about this is the legs that are on here kind of running a little bit of the back. It'S actually see-through, and I thought that was actually kind of a cool touch, something a little bit different and now, as far as audio goes again, I'm not one to really believe you can tell what it sounds like by me playing it through here. But I'll give you a little test right here, alright guys so, like I said you can tell that this thing has plenty of volume and plenty of presence when you're listening to it and, like I said, depending on whatever size room you use, it really doesn't matter

 So if you do just happen to drop it in the pool or drop it in the mud because of this fabric material, you just simply hose it off and you're good to go. So this right here is important, especially if you're one that wants to take it to the beach or take it in many different places and just not have to worry about it. Now, on the side of the speaker, you can see that these have passive radiators. Now, what that's doing with base is is actually just kind of pumping air and giving that vibration, and it's just giving that feeling of having more base, and I can tell you as far as bass goes

 Due to the size of its battery, it comes with its own AC adapter and doesn't charge via microUSB like smaller portable Bluetooth speakers do. Unlike JBL's Link series speakers, the Xtreme2 doesn't feature Wi-Fi audio streaming via Google Chromecast

 I had no problem pairing it with an iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus -- and it retains pairing with two devices simultaneously, too.

 Let'S do it so right now, the jbl xtreme 2 is still going for 350. Even though that the jbl xtreme 3 is out - and that's also 350, i believe - but i bought mine refurbished on amazon for like 190 200 bucks, so definitely check that out.  I thought it would have been a little. I heard that multiple times throughout the day, from all my co-workers, they thought the speaker was going to be way louder. I also did because, if you have this in your hand, if you hold it, this thing is humongous, and it's just i don't it's loud, but it's not as loud as it should be for the size of this you know, so that was like my biggest disappointment When it came to this speaker with that being said, we all taking sound differently. You know our ears are like fingerprints, we all hear stuff differently and we all have different standards of what is loud

 So don't have to worry about. None of the water with this speaker, so this also has the jbl connect plus and with the jbl connect plus, you can connect multiple speakers and i believe i think it's jbl um, that has you can connect like 100 speakers all at once and play them so That would be crazy. Jbl send me 100 speakers, so we can try it out, but it does do that with the connect plus. So if you have multiple jbl products, it will connect to this

 What are you talking about and some people might agree with me like a lot of people at my work said we thought it was going to be louder so all right, but so there you have it. JBL Xtreme 2 Review - Should You Buy This Speaker In 2021?

Hope my biases didn't creep into the headline. :-) I don't leave tons of reviews. Too busy. But finding a good bluetooth speaker so hard decided to review these to maybe help someone else

  THE GOOD Bluetooth connect so simple Forrest Gump could do it after a lobotomy. Loud thumping bass and phenomenal volume for guttural pleb music. Eminem Without Me, Gin and Juice, and hip-hop or pop music where artists aren't actually singers (or shouldn't be) and most of the sound is electronic not instruments, sounds pretty good. EASILY fills huge room with fairly clean sound, for guttural pleb music

 Yet for loud pleb music, especially at a distance, the speaker is still good and amazingly loud for its size, again as long as you don't listen to anyone who actually sings or plays real instruments. As noted, I have JBL reference speakers in my office, and can directly compare. I do not have the unrealistic expectation that a bluetooth speaker should sound anywhere near as good as properly positioned and aimed reference speakers on vibration stands, but having these allowed me to objectively quantify just how bad the mids or highs or whatever you call it on the Extreme 2 are. On certain songs the bass or low seems too intense and drowns out the mids and voices, and this effect does not vary linearly with volume

 Stone cold serious. Maybe I can install an EQ on computer or phone and correct, but it is astounding that JBL whiffed this bad. Yet for loud pleb music, especially at a distance, the speaker is still good and amazingly loud for its size, again as long as you don't listen to anyone who actually sings or plays real instruments. Both of these speakers get equally as loud., But since the original Xtreme has such a big emphasis on the treble you’ll might perceive it as being louder and as such, the sound will also travel a little further out doors., And this is what the Boombox does when Set to out doors mode, it relaxes the bass and puts an emphasis on the mids and treble so

 For God's sakes these don't even have illuminated buttons so you can't see in the dark!!! It doesn't even have a built-in EQ!!! and with the sad one year warranty is that manufacturers are allowed to put on us while the in Europe they're getting I think it's two or three year warranty on their electronic items we get one we get taken advantage of and we're paying top-dollar top price for these items and get a one year warranty it's garbage!!! US consumers have been getting taking advantage of for far too long. The one-year limited warranty on electronics needs to be minimum of two if we're going to be paying hundreds of dollars for items that fail within a few years. I'll bet you it costs about $30 to manufacture this speaker. It's a sad day, today I say no to overpriced Bluetooth speakers! You can say and think what you want and make your own decision

 He also claimed 15 hours, but three years ago I achieved 18 hours in 16 minutes with my test to recharge this thing. It took 2 hours and 42 minutes from dead to full. Now, Bluetooth connection was perfectly fine again we're still not yet at Bluetooth 5.0, but I have always stated: bluetooth

Someone asked me if I wear the same shirt in every one of my videos. Well, that's not the same shirt, just like the speaker that I have here today. This is the extreme two and it looks very similar to the extreme one that I reviewed three years back holy cow, but are there changes better yet are there improvements we'll find out, as always being transparent? Jbl did send us over for review, but my assessment was not altered in any way I'll go over both pros and cons extreme to it is kind of pricey here this is the first con.  Plus there. Now we have the famous passive bass Raiders that moves during music, keep in mind for those who are new. This doesn't push out audio matter of fact, although this is in case in that fabric, even on the rear. Here, there is no audio coming out this way

 This is good for entertaining, since it's not just about bass, but you want your vocals to stand out. You can also hear some depth with the extreme as there's some sense of audio being in the forefront and an audio a little bit more rearward of that. The soundstage isn't impeccable like most polluted speakers, but compared to others. It'S not a single dimensional experience actually does a little bit better

 Bluetooth connects right away and is stable even with the source far away from the speaker. The JBL app is very basic with the only real necessary feature is to provide firmware updates. Now comes the ultimate question of is it worth it? I would say that at the retail cost, it's a bit too high in my opinion. This is my third bluetooth wireless speaker that I own. I started off by purchasing a Braven BRV-1 some five or so years back and than a Nyne Bass just 3 years ago. The JBL Xtreme 2 is most definitely a better sounding speaker than my two previous purchases. I think the aesthetics are quite pleasing as the shape is friendly
