I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Great Knife for the Money, but it will rust!

Though advertised as a Shun knife, it doesn't say "Shun" anywhere on the knife or the packaging. A good knife for the price, still, but this kind of thing has seriously damaged Amazon's reputation in my eyes.

my husband is a chef so is picky about his knives but can also use any knife. This is VERY light which makes it difficult to get a good rhythm chopping. Otherwise ok, blade seams to keep a good edge so far.

Update: After less than two years, the blade has lost its ability to take or hold an edge. We were thrilled at first, but time has been no friend to this blade. A very gentle hand will pull a modest edge that lasts only a few minutes. The "bargain" from Kai turns out to be overpriced and ready for the trash

 It's probably a 4 star overall, but the keen, long lasting, durable edge overwhelms any minor issues . . . but we haven't found any minor issues yet!

I tried this knife out because it was relatively inexpensive and I've never had a Japanese knife before. It's well-balanced and I love using it when I have long prep shifts because it's light and doesn't make my wrists hurt after a few hours. Out of the box, it was incredibly sharp. I've had it for two months and it's held an edge well

While I enjoy using higher end knives sometimes you just want something in the kitchen to throw around and use for the off/on cuts. The KAI Wasabi line has been very good for a cost effective daily knife that holds its edge fairly well for the price. Decent balance without being too light and comfortable enough ergonomics make for an on-hand, ready to go addition to your workspace.

Good option for a daily use kitchen knife

Granted this is a cheap knife, however, it's made really unusable without any grooves to stop the food from vacuum sticking to it. I wanted just a second cheap knife but should have just spent $20 more to get a better knife with grooves.  The handle is uncomfortable for my cutting style, but I'm used to my Wüsthof Santoku knife. I'd recommend saving up and buying a better knife

Looks nice, but without grooves not that great.

I do like it, quite good. My only two issues with it are due to my hand size. the handle is pretty small if you have large hands, and in some chopping situations I do lightly bang my knuckles on the cutting board. But good knife for a good price
