Keychron C2

I just got my first mech about two weeks ago -- [Keychron C2 Full Size Wired Mechanical $65 on Amazon. It's ['hot meaning you can replace all the switches as needed -- no soldering needed. You can buy it with browns or reds... and then swap in other switches to test them out -- can have everything brown and put blues on the number pad, that sort of thing.

I've gotten myself a Keychron C2 with blue switches, that has white backlight and is hot-swappable. I find RGB a little too distracting, so I chose the one with white backlight. Shipping to Singapore was alright. I also hot-swapped the Gateron blues to Gateron reds, and I enjoyed it even more.

You won't want the blues since those are specifically designed to be loud. All this also goes for the [Keychron which has all the same features and options as the C1 but is a bit more expensive and has a numpad of you'd need it.

Ended up getting rid of it about three days later, and buying a Keychron C2 hot-swappable. Somehow I overlooked the fact that I use a lot of numbers during my work, and it was very difficult to do without a numpad. I didn't want to have a ton of devices on my desk, so I went back to a 100%. Got Boba U4's for the C2, and so far so good.

I know the 104 key size does not have much in the way of PCBs and cases, so that would leave me with prebuilt hotswaps so I can customize without having extreme difficulty waiting on a group buy for a 104 keyboard components to be fulfilled. I've narrowed it down to keychron C2 and the GMMK full-size. The Keychron wins on cost, but I do not know how it compares to the GMMK full size.
