4. They offer a hot=swappable option!. Here's the thing: it is **absolutely not of the same quality as the V1**. * I don't know if this is an issue with all of Keychron's hot-swappable keyboards, or if this is an issue with the first batch of k$ V2s because they were in a rush to ship - but nearly every key on this keyboard is wobbly.

Very happy with this purchase overall; there are a few issues, however -- in my experience they've been minor, but to some users they might be a bigger deal:

1. This keyboard sits pretty high off of the table or desk it sits on -- i.e. the actual height your fingers must reach to type is a little h...

That being said, the case sounds very solid out of the box, though the stabs are complete trash- too much play in the housing on the stabilizers. The keycaps are quite thin and do not block the back light at all despite not being "shine-through" keycaps- sort of like holding a bright flashlight up to you fingers, you'll see the keycap stem and supports underneath. Upgrading the stabilizers and keycaps are almost a must for this keyboard and really improve it quite a bit.

I went with the gateron reds. My precious keyboard was a Razer Blackwidow from 2014. I believe they had cherry reds, but those keys are more clicky and the the keyboard is a full size one. Ive been eyeing on keychron keyboards since word of mouth says they are good. The Keychron K4 brown switch hot swappable white led particularly caught my eye since I wanted a keyboard with a numpad and the K4 has it while being compact so I dig the design. I really dont think rgb goes well for keychron keyboards so the white is good enough, and its a bonus that its hot swappable.

Ordered **Keychron K4 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard (Version 2)** RGB Backlight Aluminum Frame / Gateron (Hot-swappable) / Brown on January 28. Have been using about a week and now nothing works on the bottom row. Click a button on the bottom row and it sends a vertical line of color straight up from the button. Can't do a factory reset because the "fn" key is inactive.

This is a very well-made keyboard. It is hefty and the quality of materials is clearly good . The setup process was extremely easy with my mac. Key travel, feel and sound are amazing. I missed this since the 90s and I will definitely get myself another mechanical keyboard going forward, but not this...

Bought the Keychron K4 few days back from their website. Shipping was surprisingly fast. Super happy with the performance. The feel and sound is pretty cool.
