Now this is like/\s/ that but it comes with keycaps and switches/\s/that are really good

 Once again, that was just stock/\s/ like nothing done to it. It sounds amazing, I know/\s/i was very impressed whenever I found this out and/\s/ yes it does have lube on it. I did find out the/\s/switches do have a little bit of lube on it, but/\s/ I mean you didn't have to do any work and you/\s/already have a great sounding keyboard now just/\s/ Taking a look at it, it is a 75 keyboard if/\s/you couldn't tell. It does have a knob which/\s/ of course is a big plus

Customizations: Modern White Version Option for Switch Types : TTC Speed Silver | Linear Plate Type : Brass Plate Option for Knob Style : Sapphire Blue | Round Option for extra knob : Random Color & Shape Option for Keycab Set : Pixel Warrior Version Option for Case Style : White | Top + Bottom Case ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now regarding the keyboard, it is definitely a looker, the pixel warrior keycaps do look really good and overall the following configuration has a really nice sound profile. However not sure if its the stabilizers or the keycaps that were included but noticed that all the stabilizers minus the space bar would stick to one side or the other when bottoming out

I just love everything about that keyboard. but sadly I this summer I spilt beer on it and it died, I opened it up and the bear had damaged the keyboard beyond repare. I want to buy that or a similar keyboard again, but in 2015 I was at a full-time job while now I'm studying, so my economic situation is quite different. I can no longer spend 170 dollars on a keyboard. what would you recommend at a cheaper price is it possible to get something similar at like closer to 50 bucks? should I just wait until I get a full-time job again?

I'm planning on replacing the stock keycaps on my k4 and I know that some keycaps will not fit all layouts e.g. shift, enter etc. But if I am only replacing the alphabet keys, will I still run into issues?(aside from  keycap profiles) Like the overall size of the replacement keycaps?

I would have liked to go with the Ducky Shine 7 or the Ducky One 2 RGB 100%, but there is no availability and the restock target is November 2021. I'm now looking at the Razer Blackwidow Elite with PBT keycaps upgrade for the same price as the Ducky Shine 7. Should I consider Corsair K95 Platinum XT too?

I'd go with brown switches for the Ducky or orange with Razer.

Would it be a good choice or should I wait for Ducky restock?

P.S. I know the hate for Razer in this sub, but from what I experienced, I never had troubles.

Also, I love the tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, but I need the typing to be as quiet as possible (my kid likes to sleep in the same room as my desk). I do quite a bit of typing, and prefer somewhat heavier keystrokes. What would be the best switches for such a use case?

I have a bluetooth only keyboard (Logitech K380) which works great in Windows, but cannot access the BIOS or anything before the BT drivers are loaded and i prefer cable more. Is there a way to add cable to the keyboard? I dont mind if the bluetooth gets destroyd while doing it :)

It seems that I will soon be getting my first mech. keyboard and I'm leaning towards the Keychron K2 version 2 (hot-swap), just cause of the low price. I wanted to ask if it's compatible with premium switches such as banana split, glorious panda, etc.

Maybe I'm not pushing my 5 pin switches down enough but after a week of use and with considerable pressure that didn't make me scared of damaging the pcb, they wouldn't go any lower, but one switch with the 2 plastic pins cut off just fit??

It's going to be my first build so I'm inexperienced, I know the Q1 has pinging and requires quite a lot of modding to solve it, but I also heard that the GMMK Pro is muted and stiff(I'm not sure how this feels like though). Any opinions?

I'm thinking about getting a keychron q1 soon, probably going to put feker holy pandas in it and then maybe some shine through side print keycaps but I'm worried the pandas will interfere too much with the south facing LEDs, I heard it'll interfere with regular shine through on the top so i figure if it's on the front it's not gunna light up at all. 

Has anyone got any experience with the q1 and holy pandas/any opaque switches? I've found a set of side print that I can get if shine through is a no go

Edit: I'm a noob, didn't realize south facing LEDs also meant mounting the switch "upside down" should be fine to use side shine through OEM keycaps

Keycaps suck and the stabilizers suck. Keycaps are uneven as well. Plastic case short battery life very disappointed. Not worth anywhere over 140$ buy something else or build don't get this please trust me

Loose stabilizers and uneven keycaps

I got the Logitech MX Keys and the Keychron K1 and I'm having some trouble with deciding which one to keep.

I'm mainly used to membrane keyboards so I didn't like the K1 when I got it, still a bit weird to type on it, however, I do really like it's slim low profile design. I'm fine with the MX Keys, however, since it has a numpad, the home row isn't centered with the monitor on my desk. (I don't have much space to move over my mouse either, though I could get used to adjusting the keyboard position every now and then.) For this reason, I am still considering the K1.

Regarding the K1, I got it with the red switches and personally I feel like the keys are too easy to press. I make a lot of mistakes typing, but I put this off to the fact that it's my first mechanical keyboard. Like I said above, I like this keyboard because its smaller and such.

Connectivity on both is wireless; I like the MX Keys a bit better with it instantly connecting to the adapter thing meanwhile the K1 takes a few seconds to connect via bluetooth. I've considered using the K1 with the cable instead as it also goes to sleep every few minutes and takes some time to reconnect.

Backlighting for the MX Keys is ok with it automatically enabling when it's dark, however, it doesn't work all the time. For the K1, its a lot more manual, which I like, kind of. Though, the backlight button unfortunately shuffles through other lighting designs? which is a bit annoying.

So, overall, which keyboard should I keep. I have a feeling most would say the K1, so if you do, how long would you expect me to take to get used to using a mechanical keyboard. Also would you suggest a wrist rest since the height of the keyboard is a lot higher than what I'm used to?

For reference, I'll be using whichever keyboard I keep for gaming (Valorant, Civ VI, Humankind, Apex Legends, etc.), for typing up essays, and what not. I'm also a computer science student so I'll be doing a lot of programming on the keyboard.

Help, I've fallen in to the dark underworld of mechanical keyboards! 

I just wanted a decent keyboard, not a new hobby but it may be too late for me. Contrary to many folks here I absolutely abhor loud keyboards, doubly so if I'm not the one typing, and I discovered the Boba U4 Silent Tactile Switch. This switch seems firmly in the enthusiast space with no prebuilt keyboards using them. I'm now looking to build a reasonably priced custom keyboard.

I don't mind assembling my keyboard, even if that means lubing switches and all that. I am just still at a loss for what to buy beside these wonderfully quiet tactile switches. 

I'm pretty sure I want a 75% or TKL but I use the home cluster quite a bit and it isn't yet clear how I access the missing keys on a 75% or if that is a good compromise. When I work from home I spend a lot of time writing code and administrating remote linux servers via cli. The home cluster is quite handy for that. I also would really love to have some sort of rotary encoder to adjust volume. I could live without but I would miss it. I don't really care about RGB but a backlight of some sort would be nice. I can live without wireless but it might be added value if all else is equal. I also do quite a bit of video and photo editing if that changes recommendations. I'm guessing I want something that is plate mounted for structural integrity. The Keychron Q1 seems like a good contender if I can figure out how to access my missing home cluster keys efficiently. What other keyboards, kits or barebones, should I consider? Is there anything similar in TKL?

Stabs? I know I want a quiet keyboard and I will need decent stabs for this. Where do I start? I really have no idea.

Key caps: It seems like this should be easy for TKL but harder to find for 75% layouts. I would something with a drier feels that offers a little grip. PBT seems to fit this description. Shine through legends would be nice but are not a requirement. The most important thing is to have the important secondary functions visible, especially if I go with 75% and need to learn a new layout.

Also, what am I missing?
