 This is the kicker bullfrog and it is their latest waterproof, Bluetooth, speaker. As you know, there are a lot of waterproof Bluetooth speakers in the market. It'S a pretty competitive arena and companies start to starting to figure out that they have to offer a couple different features that are new innovative to get some attention and the kicker bullfrog. It delivers omnidirectional sound, which we like quite a bit, kicks out of both sides

 Speakers these days have a aux-in on them and that's important, because sometimes someone might have an older mp3 player that doesn't have bluetooth on it, and so you can still use a an auxilary jack to plug them in which is also great. The app has several different EQ settings, so that's really cool. You can also obviously adjust everything on the unit itself, but using it via the phone is really cool because you can have it set up somewhere in a location where it's gon na be a better sound for everyone involved, and you can operate everything on your phone. Also, 20 hours of battery life, pretty awesome

The Kicker Bullfrog BF400: Review

Behind the large, curved speaker grill paneling screwed into place on the front and back panels, the Bullfrog Jump has some very large drivers&mdash;dual 4-inch drivers augmented by 3-inch and 4-inch passive bass radiators. The pairs of drivers and radiators are arrayed in opposite directions for a room-filling stereo sound. A rubberized bottom panel keeps the speaker from moving around&mdash;a real concern considering its power&mdash;and there's also a threaded screw mount for attaching to compatible outdoor gear.

 On this track, at top, exceptionally loud volumes&mdash;around perhaps 90 percent&mdash;the drivers begin to experience some distortion. But dial the volume back just slightly, and you still have a very loud speaker delivering distortion-free, powerful bass. It's hard to consider the distortion, which can also be managed at top volumes by dialing back the bass response in the app slightly, as a real issue. Most portable speakers we test cannot touch these volume levels, and at levels that other portable outdoor speakers tend to reach, there's no distortion to speak of

Does this speaker exceed our expectations? No, but it certainly meets them. The Bullfrog Jump is a powerful and outdoor-proof speaker that earns its super-high price tag. It's not a speaker that everyone will need or consider paying for, but those looking for an extra-rugged, extra-loud portable Bluetooth speaker will be quite pleased with the results. That said, if you're looking to spend a little less money on an outdoor-friendly option, the JBL Xtreme ($375

 It'S what we love. Everybody here is passionate about audio we're audiophiles and we get excited when we get a play with a new Bluetooth speaker, a new audio device. So we got our hands on the new bluetooth bullfrog by kicker. We were completely blown away

You probably haven't heard of Kicker unless you're into tricking out your car stereo with aftermarket gear, but the company just announced a new portable Bluetooth speaker for sports fans that could be a hit with tailgaters this summer. I know you're thinking the world doesn't need another portable speaker, but the Bullfrog Jump is different because it's meant to sit in the trunk of your car until you're ready for the party.An official IP6 rating means you can simply hose off the Bullfrog Jump if it ever gets dirty.

 That's a big ask, especially when you consider that even the most expensive models in this list of our favorite Bluetooth speakers sell for $299 (£230, AU$400). Still, most of those don't have the power of the Jump's speaker array, so I can't say for sure yet if it's worth the cost. Stay tuned to CNET for the full review.

Great sound quality! Used by the pool one summer and never got wet or dropped now won't hold a charge! Did not buy on Amazon but retail purchase. Can't return now. If I want to use it, and I still do, have to keep it plugged in while playing.

 So I decided to get a BF100 for my wife. Something a little lighter so she could carry it around. These are $50 cheaper so I figured the features and quality would be a little less than the BF400s, which are $200. Holy smokes, what a huge drop in sound quality and volume

What happened?

 Although the sound is great when it works, the connectivity issues give this product 1 star in my experience.

When I first got this product it took a while to pair to my iphone 10 but eventually synced up and worked ok. When it worked the sound was awesome but I would continue to have connectivity issues. I recently upgraded my phone to an iPhone 13 and now the device is no longer discoverable and will not allow me to connect via Bluetooth. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said they could repair for $75, sheesh!…new unit is $99

Serious connectivity issues.

Don't buy this model buy the BF200. I had lots of connectivity issues and eventually it would no longer connect to anything (about a week after purchasing). I have two of the BF200s and both have worked great with no issues. The charger input on this model is also too big for the charger they provided

This is the 3rd Bullfrog I have bought, the BF400 and BF200 bigger units had such great sound I wanted the BF100 for the golf cart so I could listen to great sounding music on the golf course. This smaller unit provides kick ass sound.
