Just needed to share this... i just picked up a Lenovo e14 gen. 2, with a ryzen 4800u and i'm quite impressed with where AMD has taken light weight laptops.

1,6 kg and it performs like a champ.

I just installed skyrim on it and at 1080p medium settings (tweaked up a bit closer to high) it quite consistently stays above 50 fps and most of the time it's pinned at 60 fps, all this without even getting hot. I know it's not the newest of games, but when you think it's on integrated graphics, i think it's pretty awsome.

It also feels a lot snappier in civilization 6 than my stationary PC sporting a ryzen 5 2600 and a vega 56.

The glory of AMD APU's

The ryzen 5850u is certainly a little beast of a CPU running on a 65W laptop. The 2.5k "low power" screen is the sweet spot for me. My fonts are super crisp, but I'm not wasting electrons on driving a 4k 13" monitor (which is silly)

 That said, battery life isn't amazing. I'm mostly doing local development using VS Code / Vim and minikube, and get a couple hours tops usually. But I'm willing to make that trade for a solid 8-core chip and 32GB of ram.
